Unexpected Invitation to Koh Yor, Songkhla I Rizza Cruz

It was truly a happy Friday for me. I unexpectedly received a message from one of my Thai co-workers to have a breakfast but it turned out to be a mini road trip. We first went to Nangam Road which is in Songkhla Town, near our University. Then, she decided to bring me to a Coffee Shop in Koh Yor and have something to drink. By the way, Koh is a Thai word for Island.

HAT YAI THAILAND BEST PLACES TO VISIT (Songhkla/ToneNgaChang/HatYaiNai)

These 3 places you should not miss in Hatyai Thailand.
1. SONGKHLA Municipal Song Thale Park, Laem Son On where you can see The Great Serpent, NAG. The people of Southern Thailand believe that NAG is the deity of the divine creation of water as well as fertility for all living things. It sprays divine water to make people feel fresh and happy. Thus, the local people frequently pay respect to Nag, the great serpent and ask him to forever bring happiness and good fortune to their lives.
The sculpture was officially open in 2007 when Songkhla Mayor Utitt Chuchouy decided to create a monument to NAG which could forever bring good fortune, wealth, fertility and prosperity to the people of Songhkla City.

2. TONE NGA CHANG Wildlife Sanctuary. Tone Nga Chang means waterfall like the elephant tusks in the local dialect. It is located in Rattaphum Road, about 26 km. from Hatyai City. You can find the Tone Nga Chang Waterfall. It has seven tiers and it is considered as one of the most attractive waterfalls in Southern Thailand.
Stream is like a nature private pool with friendly fishes swimming vivrantly.
Behold the beauty of nature. The amazing view really mesmerized me and the experience that I had refreshes my senses.

3. WAT HATYAI NAI. Located in Petchakasem Road near U- Tapao Bridge. Phra Phuttha Hattha Mongkhon is situated here, it is believed to be the third largest reclining buddha image in the world. The size is 35 meter long, 15 meter tall and 10 meter wide. It is an open air Buddhist Temple in Khuan Lang. One of important temple in Southern Thailand where many people will go during major festival.
The place is clean and peaceful.
