Insel Mainau, Konstanz GERMANY ・ ボーデン湖に浮かぶ花の島
Mainau is an island in Lake Constance (Bodensee) near the city of Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is maintained as a garden island and a model of excellent environmental practices.
The island belongs to the Lennart Bernadotte-Stiftung an entity created by Prince Lennart, Count Bernadotte af Wisborg, formerly a Prince of Sweden and Duke of Småland. It is one of the main tourist attractions of Lake Constance. Beside flowers there is a park landscape with views on the lake.
Mainau also has the nickname Flower Island.
One of the main highlights of a day spent on Mainau Island is a visit to Germany's second largest butterfly house where thousands of butterflies can be seen. Get a feeling of the tropics as you walk around the exotic landscape with its unique vegetation.

Konstanz ist die größte Stadt am Bodensee und Kreisstadt des Landkreises Konstanz. Sie gehört zur Bundesrepublik Deutschland und liegt an der Grenze zur Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft. Seit dem 1. April 1956 ist Konstanz eine Große Kreisstadt und bildet ein Oberzentrum innerhalb der Region Hochrhein-Bodensee im Regierungsbezirk Freiburg des Landes Baden-Württemberg. In Konstanz sind zwei Hochschulen ansässig, die Universität Konstanz und die Hochschule Konstanz Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung (HTWG). Die Geschichte des Ortes reicht bis in die römische Zeit zurück.

Constance is a town on Lake Constance (Bodensee) in southern Germany. In the preserved medieval district of Niederburg stands the Romanesque cathedral of Constance, famous for its combination of decorative styles and Gothic spire. The town hall features fine frescoes and a Renaissance courtyard. The Rosgartenmuseum tells the cultural history of the region through exhibits of objects dating from prehistory to the twentieth century.

The Confusing Borders of Lake Constance
If you're sitting on a boat in Lake Constance, are you in three countries at once? Or just in one? Does it even matter? Because strangely, it turns out there are parts of the world where no-one really minds when international borders are not just ignored, but are completely undefined.

LAGO Konstanz - JOOP! Season Opening // Cool Summer Vibes
Wird weltmännisch moderner Style mit angesagtem Gin-Tasting und mediterranen Köstlichkeiten kombiniert, ist man entweder in einer szenigen Rooftop-Bar in Mailand oder beim JOOP! Season Opening 2018 im LAGO. Beides für Modebewusste auf jeden Fall absolut sehenswert. In Mailand waren wir zwar nicht, haben aber für euch ein paar bewegte Bilder vom Season Opening eingefangen.
