Lagoon Amusement Park Camping in Farmington Utah offers RV and tent camping adjacent to an amusement park. The roads are paved and the sites are mowed grass; except for the large concrete pull thrus with excellent spacing. Large shade trees are located throughout the park. The sites are close together and when crowded can be a bit tight to get in and out of. Located in an urban setting this park is easy to get to. Guests of the campground/ RV park do get discounted access to the amusement park. Sites range from primitive (no hookup) to deluxe full hookup concrete pull thrus. The campground does not provide fire rings but does allow fires if you bring your own pit that stands more than 12″ off the ground.
The entrance to the park is a bit tricky to see; it is just south of the main entrance.
Adjacent to the campground is the multi-use Farmington Creek Trail for biking and hiking. It meanders along the stream and around the amusement park eventually leading to a recreational pond and park. No playground or pool the campground is geared towards guests visiting the large amusement park. A few of the roller coasters come very close to the campground = it is noisy during operational hours.

Cannibal Roller Coaster (4K) POV - Lagoon Amusement Park
Cannibal is a steel roller coaster at Lagoon amusement park in Farmington, Utah, United States. Opened on July 2, 2015, the $22-million ride was built and designed mostly in-house – a rare move for an amusement park. It features the steepest drop in North America, fourth-steepest in the world, and holds the world record for the tallest beyond-vertical drop on a roller coaster.
Nearly seventy-five percent of Cannibal was designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house by Lagoon amusement park with the help of multiple firms located in Utah. The lead designer was Lagoon's Dal Freeman. In an era when most amusement parks outsource the work to companies in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, the decision to build in-house is rare and bold move in the industry. The roller coaster features a 208-foot-tall (63 m) enclosed tower, a beyond-vertical drop of 116 degrees, a themed underground tunnel, and a 360-degree helix situated above a man-made waterfall. It also features four inversions that include a 140-foot-tall (43 m) Immelman loop, a dive loop, and a unique inversion the park calls the Lagoon roll, which consists of a counter-clockwise heartline roll immediately followed by a clockwise heartline roll. Lap bar-only restraints are used on the trains which travel up to 70 miles per hour (110 km/h) and pull as much as 4.2 G's.
The ride had been in the planning stages for more than five years and required more than two years to build. Prior to its planned opening in the spring of 2015, Lagoon announced that the roller coaster's debut would be postponed for additional testing and inspections. The ride officially opened on July 2, 2015.
The roller coaster features a 208 feet (63 m) elevator lift, enclosed in a huge tower structure, a 116° beyond vertical drop, inversions including an Immelman-like loop as well as an inversion unique to the park, a water feature, and a tunnel 20 feet (6.1 m) underground. It is the tallest roller coaster in the state and the longest ride in the park. The ride cars accommodate 12 passengers (3 rows of 4), and the duration of the ride lasts approximately two and a half minutes.
Bombora Roller Coaster (4K) POV - Lagoon Amusement Park
BomBora is a family steel roller coaster currently operating at Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, United States. It is located just outside Lagoon-A-Beach. The name of the coaster comes from an indigenous Australian term for a submerged reef or a turbulent area of the sea over such a reef.
Construction started in 2010 after lockers for Lagoon-A-Beach were demolished. The roller coaster opened in 2011.
The ride starts with a left turn out of the station and to the lift-hill. At the top of the lift-hill riders go down the highest drop in the ride and into a series of drops and twists while music by The Beach Boys (or another tune with similar style and theme) is playing, before hitting the final brake run and returning to the station.

Wicked Roller Coaster (4K) POV - Lagoon Amusement Park
Wicked is a launched steel roller coaster located at Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah, United States. It opened on June 1, 2007. Just over 2 months after park opening due to gaps in the track that required re-welding. It is currently the second tallest roller coaster at Lagoon, surpassed only by Cannibal.
Wicked was designed by Dal Freeman/Lagoon Corporation, manufactured by Zierer, and fabricated by Stakotra Manufacturing. The ride is thrilling because it is launched to high speed vertically without any significant warning, has a 90-degree descent on the tower hill, pulls 4.885 gs, features a unique lap-bar restraint, and features an Immelmann turn and heartline roll. It was rumored to be named by the daughter of Dal Freeman (a designer/engineer of Magnum XL-200) as Wicked, after the famous musical and book, or after the fact that the design looked wicked to her. Wicked was the first LSM (linear synchronous motor) launched roller coaster to utilize a flywheel inverter. The LSMs are not only used for launching the trains, but for also braking the trains. The energy recovered by braking the trains is used to spin the flywheel inverter where potential energy is stored and used to launch the trains.
Riders start by turning into a dark tunnel with a siren and a loud boom, before shooting straight up the 110 ft vertical launch hill at 40 MPH, cresting, and then descending vertically down the other side of the tower at speeds reaching 55 MPH. Riders then go up and over a small airtime hill with a trim brake, before going up and quickly flipping around an Immelmann turn. The track levels out before sending riders up into a heartline roll. They then descend and then quickly pass around a small, shallow turn into the trim/safety brake.
Riders descend into a double half-pipe, then being twisted to the right, left, then into a right half downward helix, then twisting to the left, then descending into a trench covered by a tunnel, before ascending and leveling out into the reduction brake run as the ride ends.

Roller Coaster (built in 1921) 4K POV - Lagoon Amusement Park
Roller Coaster, often nicknamed the White Roller Coaster due to the previously white color, at Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah, United States, is the oldest roller coaster at the park. It is a wooden roller coaster owned by Lagoon. Built-in 1921 and operating ever since the Roller Coaster is the seventh oldest roller coaster in the world and the fourth oldest in the United States.
The Roller Coaster was designed by John A. Miller and opened in 1921. In 1953, a fire damaged the coaster and burnt down the rest of the park, meaning the station and lift hill had to be rebuilt.[2] Over the years it has had computer upgrades and new trains installed. In 2005, it became an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark for being a classic coaster. In October 2012, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The ride has no real official name other than Roller Coaster, so the locals often call it the White Roller Coaster. The park has recently stopped painting the ride, so it will gradually move from white to natural brown as Lagoon rebuilds a section of the ride per off-season, to help preserve the Roller Coaster. However, the nickname stuck, and people continue calling it the White Roller Coaster despite it now being brown.
In early 2018 the ride opened with new Great Coasters International trains, instead of the original 4x3x2 Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters trains. The entrance was moved to where the original exit was and has a wall explaining the history of the coaster. The ride experience was not changed.
The Roller Coaster starts with a turn out of the station and over to the lift hill where it rises 60 feet (18 m). The train then plunges down the first hill and up the next and down again around the west turn and into a several more series of hills gradually getting smaller around two more turns before returning to the station.
A number of accidents have occurred on the Roller Coaster since its opening, though all were related to the persons' own misconduct. In 1989, a 13-year-old girl stood up and fell 35 feet to her death. She died at the scene. At least two more deaths have occurred over the years. In 1934, Henry Howe, 20, of Ogden, Utah fell to his death as he attempted to stand up when the train was on its highest hill. Howe hit a number of support trestles on the way down. In 1946, James Young Hess was struck by the train as he was working on scaffolding on the ride. Hess suffered skull, leg and arm fractures and internal injuries before dying on September 1, 1946.
NEW 2018 Lagoon Roller Coaster Testing With GCI Trains, Station, & More (HD) Lagoon Amusement Park
NEW for 2018 Lagoon refurbs Roller Coaster and gets new entrance and exit queue, new station with new loading gates and on the opposite side, new operators booth, and new custom GCI (Great Coasters International) Trains. They look similar to Millennium Flyers but they are different and the trains are made to work with Roller Coaster as originally this was built by John C Miller and not GCI. If anyone knows what you would call these new custom trains let me know in the comments and ill update the description.
Lagoon Amusement Park is located in Farmington, Utah, USA.
