Coron Island and Lagoon Tour
Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Banana Island, Malcapuya Island.
Coron, Palawan. Philippines.
Please visit my flickr account for more photos:
This place brought me into prayer. There's something spiritual in the beauty of nature.
Lake Kayangan is one of Coron’s primary attractions. Accessible by a steep 10-minute climb, the crystal-clear waters of Lake Kayangan are nestled into the mountain walls; underwater is like a moonscape. There’s a little wooden walkway and platform to stash your things if you go for a swim. (Lonely Planet)

If you plan to travel to Busuanga, Coron, contact Ms. Raquel Wenceslao: 0926-233-6132 or 0939-925-6122. She took care of my lodging, airport transfer and the tour to the different lagoons. She's very reliable and friendly.
Panget Nga Ba ang Blue Lagoon sa Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur? - Vlog 11
Some people have a lot to say about Blue Lagoon sa Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. We went there to find out kung maganda ba ito or panget. (TURN ON ENGLISH SUBTITLE)
PS: Hindi ko ni-tweak ang color para natural at unedited ang kulay ng lagoon.
Also, pagpasensyahan nyo na mukha ko. I still struggle with my acnes kasi. Pana-panahon talaga sya. Biglang dumarating tas mawawala na naman.
Stay awkward and awesome!

Dauin | Dumaguete | Negros Oriental | Philippines | Female Solo Traveler
Just a 20 minute ride from Dumaguete lays Dauin. It’s famous for scuba diving and trips to Apo Island. There are a lot of resorts along the beach offering the trips.
If you don’t want to go diving or snorkeling, you can get around and visit some highlights in the area.

--DAUIN THINGS TO DO--
I visited:
►Casaroro falls
►Twin Lakes
►Smokey mountain (just along the road)
I got on the back of a motor cycle which costed me 2000 pesos for the whole day, private tour. Not sure if lunch was supposed to be included. My guide paid for me but I paid it back later
The resort I stayed in doesn’t normally offer trips like this. It was specially arranged for me.
Along the way you pay little entrance fees at both locations, and you need to register.
►Casaroro falls
It’s a lot of steps to go down! And then there used to be a path, but it was washed away with a flood / tyfoon. Get ready to get over some wet stones - wear good shoes - and prepare for wet feet. Journey is rewarding though. Falls are high, and not crowded.
►Twin Lakes
Very silent place. Looks like Austria to be honest!
Get a boat over the lake - 150 pesos per hour for the kayak, going around yourself. Or 250 per hour to get a bigger boat with boatman.
To see twin lakes viewpoint and visit the small falls you’ll need at least 1/5 to 2 hours.
There is a small restaurant with view over the lake for lunch. But there are lots of picknick spots as well.
I suspect this place is busy in the weekend and holidays, when people will have a picknick here.
NOTE: you are not allowed to fly a drone over the lakes. It’s a protected area.
--SLEEP IN DAUIN--
►Mikes Dauin Resort -
Recommended in the area. Friendly staff, good beds, little pool and lots of divers! Good food also. This is the place I stayed in and it did not disappoint.
Other options:
►Pura Vida -
Close to the place I stayed in and it looked good from the outside! Pictures online make me curious too
--EAT IN DAUIN--
Just walk along the beach, and stop where ever you want a bite. I liked the food at Mike’s and since I was traveling alone, I don’t feel the need to go out for food all the time ;)

--TEXT IN THE VIDEO--
It’s a relatively short hop from Siquijor to Dumaguete.
Drive 20 minutes south, and you’ll end up in Dauin.
A sleepy little town, with some very nice resorts along the beach.
With Apo Island just around the corner, scuba diving is by far the nr 1 attraction here.
But if you’re not a diver, it’s highly recommended to head this way…
Being so long and narrow, makes this waterfall unique. The water drops over 30 meter before it smashes into the natural pool underneath.
Thick clouds of sulfur just leak out of the mountain, climbing up to the sky. It’s a fascinating choreography, almost hypnotizing…
High up in the mountains, the twin lakes are hidden. It’s an important bird area with a high number of endangered species. But what you’ll mostly notice is how quiet and peaceful it is up here. A place to wind down, far from daily life..
They say still waters run deep, in this case even to 90 meters.
If you make it to the other side, you’ll be rewarded with yet an other little waterfall.
The last stop of the lake, will give you a great view over the two twins.

A Walk Behind Big La Laguna, Mindoro Island, Philippines
A behind the scenes of Big La Laguna, Philippines.
10 Most Beautiful Islands in the world!
All about fun.
.
1 Maldives
The Maldives are home to some of the world's most ravishing islands, but it's the sea, which truly makes these islands shine. Luminous aquamarine waters with a crystal clarity lap upon these dazzling white shores, which barely peek above the Indian Ocean. Consisting of 26 natural atolls, the Maldives archipelago is the planet's lowest lying nation, rising no more than three meters above the sea at its highest point, a measurement that shrinks every year. Beneath the mesmerizing waters, coral reefs flourish, luring divers and snorkelers from around the world. Surfers also flock here to ride the uncrowded breaks. Back on land, luxury resorts provide the perfect launching points for adventures focused upon the sea, the archipelago's greatest asset, but also, as the planet's climate changes, its single greatest threat.
2 Bora Bora, French Polynesia
Shaped like a giant sombrero, this lush volcanic island stars in countless South Pacific fantasies. The focal point and best asset of this tropical beauty is its ravishing lagoon in technicolor turquoise. Fish, turtles, sharks, and rays swim in the clear waters, and tiny islets or motus dot the lagoon. The island, of course, is distinctly French, with mouthwatering cuisine to match. Diving and snorkeling are excellent in the surrounding reefs and hiking trails weave through the palm-studded forests. If you can afford it, hide out here in a luxurious over-the-water bungalow and bask in your good fortune as you fall asleep to the gentle slosh of the sea.
3 Palawan, Philippines
Palawan is the Philippine's answer to paradise. This island province stretches southwest to Borneo with lush limestone peaks rising from a jewel-like sea so clear, that you can almost see the expressions on the fish from above the surface. Slivers of gleaming white sand fringed with rustling palms rim many of these jungle-clad islands, while under the water, coral reefs flourish with an impressive diversity of tropical fish, offering some of the best diving in the world. Other attractions include the islands' unique wildlife, emerald lakes, and quaint fishing villages. Coron is home to plush resorts, and El Nido drips with natural beauty and is one of the most alluring islands in the chain. From here, you can island hop around the spectacular Bacuit archipelago. One of Palawan's top attractions is the World Heritage-listed Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, an impressive limestone cave system with a long underground river.
4 Seychelles
Pristine and picture-perfect, the Seychelles are worth traveling for. East of Kenya, this relatively unspoiled archipelago of 115 coral and granite islands feature UNESCO-listed jungles; thriving coral reefs; and palm-lined, powdery beaches flanked by giant boulders. Almost half the total land area of these equatorial isles is protected, and many of the islands lie within fish-rich marine sanctuaries with excellent diving and snorkeling. The Seychelles also feature some of the planet's richest fishing grounds, making this a top destination for anglers. Add some spicy Créole cuisine into the mix as well as the plush resorts of Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, and it's easy to understand the Seychelles' allure.
5 Santorini, Greece
Encircling a sea-filled caldera, spectacular Santorini scores top points for dramatic beauty. Bleached white villas tumble down volcanic cliffs. Blue-domed churches rise against the sparkling sea, and bright sprays of bougainvillea add to the eye-popping canvas of color. Perched atop the black lava cliffs, the settlements of Firá and Oia are the island's most picturesque, and pricey, destinations, and Oia ranks among the most photographed locations in the world. Other highlights of the island include Akrotíri Archaeological Site, Ancient Thira, the black sand beach of Perissa, and of course, the sublime sunsets. Sailing into this stunning caldera surrounded by soaring sea cliffs makes an unforgettable first impression.

Mountain Trekking In Philippines, Mt. Kitanglad, Bukidnon (Part 1)
*** I have decided to keep these Mt. Kitanglad adventure videos very raw. I hope it gives you a glimpse of what it is like trekking here with a group of friends in the Philippines :)
Part 1 involves the first half of the climb going up. We had to adventure off-road just to get to the trail head. This was followed by a trek into vegetation, some snacks, and a little bit of Para-Paran!
This is part 1 of my #BecomingFilipino Mt. Kitanglad adventure trek in beautiful Bukidnon, Mindanao!
Super Apir!
