Borrego Springs is in San Diego County, California.
Borrego Springs is completely surrounded by Anza-Borrego State Park, the largest of California's State Parks. The village of Borrego Springs has a pueblo-style Visitor's Center & Chamber of Commerce, as well as two shopping malls, several restaurants, accommodation and individual shops. There are no stop lights in Borrego Springs and night time lighting is kept to a minimum to protect the views of the night sky. Source :

MT. LAGUNA - Pine Creek Road

Driving on Pine Creek Road after camping at a primitive campsite. The road is paved for the fire service but still a rough road with lots of potholes. 4WD is not needed; but high-clearance is recommended for parts of the road.
We will see YOU on the next adventure!

#MtLaguna #SanDiegoCounty #California #JeepLife #TagTrailer #TeardropTrailer
Took our 2018 nuCamp T@G Boondock Edition Trailer for it's first weekend camping trip to Mt..Laguna, California.
Mt. Laguna is just one hour east of San Diego, however we got a late start and drove up the mountain in the dark and had to do our camp setup in the dark.
The next morning we had several horse riders nearby. After lunch we drove a couple miles and switched campgrounds. Our first camping trip in the T@G trailer was a success!

MT LAGUNA WINTER HIKE
This is a short hike I did in Mount Laguna. It doesn't snow much here so we get a little excited. Watch it while sitting down, you may fall asleep. Its peaceful, and quiet. ENJOY.
18 Mile Hike Around Mt. Laguna, CA
On Saturday I hiked for about 18 miles along the network of trails around Mt. Laguna. The Big Laguna Trail leads you past large, open meadows, towering pine trees, and connects to a bunch of other trails that wind through the mountains.
After hiking for about five hours or so, I met up with the Pacific Crest Trail along the east side of Sunrise Highway to the Pacific Crest Trail and ventured a bit to the south. A detour up to Garnet Peak was a solid climb after walking roughly 12 miles, but well worth it to see the stunning 360-degree views looking east toward Anza-Borrego, and then back to the west toward Lake Cuyamaca and Julian.
Located just a little more than an hour east of Downtown San Diego, this is a great hike that features multiple trails, and only minor activity. It gives you a chance to enjoy the quietness, listen to the birds, and enjoy a great day outside.

Laguna Mountain Biking. Bad plan. Good times. It said no bikes allowed.
Mountain biking in Laguna always delivers good scenery. The rain this last spring made the views spectacular!
This day, Kelly and I had planned to do either two laps on Lizard or the loop that Tony had shown us previously. Due to my mistake, we ended up doing both. But the weather was perfect, the scenery was awesome, and the company was good.
I should note that Kelly is rad. She had no problem doing all the extra climbing and braving a technical descent that we'd not planned on doing. Kudos to the best wife.
