A perfect place to relax. Lakawon Island is simply amazing, white sand and crystal clear water that surrounds the island. It was really a great escapade after a stressful work. Their Taw Hai Floating Bar is soo awesome. For sure, you'll love it there too.

Reuploading this to my main channel here for those who didn't get to see it yet. This was my first time on the island of Lakawon. Very nice and chill, this island is great for a day trip or camping trip with friends or family. It is 1 hour drive from Bacolod city located on Negros Occidental.

The second part of our Negros tour is to spend a day in the famous white sand island of Lakawon.
Lakawon Island is part of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental which is 1.5 hours north of the capital, Bacolod City. The commute is easy from Bacolod to Cadiz (via Ceres bus), to the port (via tricycles from the highway), and to the island (via boat).
The whole Lakawon Island is an all-inclusive resort, with affordable accommodations, day-tour cottages, restaurants and bars. We were not lucky to try the famous Tawhai Floating Bar as it was under maintenance that day. Still, there's a lot you can do in the island.
For day tour, make sure to be aware of the last scheduled boat trip back to the mainland so you won't miss it.
