Lake Eupen, Belgium.
It was a beautiful day with 15° C temp and we decided to drive around the province Ardennes. We stopped and discovered a perfect place for walking/jogging, Lake Eupen an artificial lake located in Eupen a town in eastern Belgium.

Barrage Lac D'eupen (Eupen lake Dam)
A beautiful lake in the far eastern borders of Belgium, This lake stores and regulates the local towns drinking water. It's incredibly peaceful here, and would recommend any traveller stop by to really experiance the harnessed 25million m3 of water behind the Dam. and the typically belgium rolling tree lined hills.

One day in the East Cantons : visiting EUPEN
Last sunny sunday I went to another side of Belgium, the East Cantons (oostkantons). This is the part of Belgium where they speak our third language, German.
I went to the city of Eupen, only 15 kilometres from the German border. You can already see some German characteristics in the architecture of churches and houses and other buildings.
As it is a small city, I think the best thing to do is plan to visit some more cities or villages in one day, as you will have seen it all very quickly. I did not know this so I went for another walk in Brussels as well, before going home.
The video will only give you some footage I made of the city of Eupen. I hope you will enjoy it as I did walking around Eupen.
