LITTLE RESORT TOWN - Yufuin, Oita
Yufuin is a little resort town in Oita. Most people go for onsen but I wasn't up for onsen and decided to see the other things the town has to offer.
I stopped by one of the many cafes, walked around Lake Kinrin, explored some shops, and visited Yufuin Floral Village.
All in all, it's a cute town and worth a little visit if you're passing through the area.

鵜戸神宮 Udo Shrine and 金鱗湖 Lake Kinrin
Udo-jingū (鵜戸神宮) is a Shinto shrine in Nichinan, Miyazaki prefecture, Japan, south of Aoshima. It is the mythical birthplace of Emperor Jimmu's father Ugayafukiaezu. According to shrine legends, it is the place where the sea goddess Toyotamahime, the mother of said Ugayafukiaezu, built a birth-hut from the feathers of a cormorant. Other gods venerated here are Yamasachihiko (alias Hohodemi alias Hoori, Jinmu's grandfather), Amaterasu, Amenooshihomimi, Ninigi-no-Mikoto, and Emperor Jimmu. While the original myth includes a tragic divorce of Ugayafukiaezu's parents, the shrine is popular with young couples hoping for easy childbirth and a happy marriage.
Lake Kinrin is famous for its morning mists created when water welling up from hot and cold springs mix. Its name came from a Confucian scholar who spotted a gold-scaled fish in the waters around sunset one day.

Yufu-dake Hiking ⇒Lake Shidaka Time Lapse 由布岳西峰の鎖場
2014.9/13.14で由布岳登山後、志高湖にｷｬﾝﾌﾟ行ってきました。
今回SONYのｱｸｼｮﾝｶﾑHDR-AS100Vを購入しましたので西峰の鎖場にて撮影。志高湖ではインターバル撮影・微速度撮影と言われる一眼レフカメラとｱｸｼｮﾝｶﾑHDR-AS100V によるコマ撮り動画を撮ってきました。
太陽に向かっての撮影は難しくﾌｨﾙﾀｰかませてもﾉｲｽﾞだらけでした。
我家のｷｬﾝﾌﾟ風景はこんな感じです。
ﾃﾝﾄ設営~志高湖の夕暮れまでを微速度撮影。

【4K】Walking and flying around Yufuin, Kyushu
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
I was not planning to stop in Yufuin but I found that there is no train between Beppu and Kumamoto because of earthquake few years ago, the only train route was going through Fukuoka. And while it was the fastest way it was a bit unfair to go around, so I took bus and it was passing through Yufuin.
I walked from the station towards Yufu mountain to Kinrin lake. Than I walked back along Oita river to rice fields behind the station and flew around and above the top of Yufu mountain.
