Lake Liddell Camping Area - Muswellbrook , NSW
The Lake Liddell Recreation Area is a beautiful spot on a lovely lake. There is plenty of room for lots of campers and there are hot showers and toilets. There are also powered sites, picnic tables, firepits and waater is available. You cannot enter the water or use the water in the lake due to a naturally occurring bacteria which can be dangerous to humans but this does not spoil the area. There is also some noise from the train line and the colliery across the lake. Bendeela Recreation Area - Kangaroo Valley, NSW
The Bendeela Recreation Area is a large open area for camping set on the banks of the Kangaroo River. There are no designated sites so you can set up anywhere you like. The township nearby is lovely and great for a visit. There are many bare-nosed wombats in the campground so you need to mindful to drive slowly. 153. Berry Park Rest Area, Bathurst NSW
Our stay in Bathurst was fantastic and this terrific 72 hour Free camp made it easy to relax and enjoy everything Bathurst had to offer.Berry Park Rest area is close to the Town Centre, Information Centre and Showgrounds.
There is a river very close by offering some fishing also.
There is so much room and you can find a good grassed level spot fairly easily.
There are toilets, bins and water. Water is also available at the Info Centre nearby.
A dump point is located at the neighbouring Showgrounds.
The Rest area is pet friendly.
We had excellent Telstra, Vodafone and Optus coverage.
The cost to stay is Free
Our stay was 19th - 22cnd October 2017 (we did stay an extra night due to losing a day and a half to wet weather and there was lots to see and do in town)

Inland Waters Holiday Parks near Lake Glenbawn is situated 2hrs north of Newcastle,, a wonderful place for hiking and boating for kids of all ages.
CAMPING TRIP SOUTH OF MOSS VALE, NSW, Australia
The first camping trip in my 1998 Land cruiser. We traveled about 45 mins from Moss vale. Cool camping spots around here. Not too far from Sydney. We used the Coleman Quick pitch tent. One of the best tents I've used.Camera gear:

Camping on the Foreshore of Chaffey Dam NSW June 2018
Low Cost Camping, Chaffey Dam is unique in inland NSW for its distinctive brick-red rock wall made of semi-precious stone and its unusual morning glory spillway. The lake and its foreshores are a popular destination for water sports and fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers, bushwalkers, campers and picnickers. The main purpose of the dam is to supply irrigation and stock needs in the Peel River Valley of northern NSW, and to supply water to the city of Tamworth.
Newnes Camping Area - Wollemi National Park, NSW
The Newnes camping area is set in a gorgeous open area surrounded by amazing sandstone cliffs and escarpements. Within walking distance are the Newnes Industrial Ruins consisting of the ruins of old shale oil mining days. There are also glow worm caves to discover not too far away and this is a fantastic place to spend a few days. Within the camping area there are approximately 80 sites, drop toilets, picnic tables and firepits.
