Fu Lin Restaurant Aspen Hill MD review
Fu Lin, an oriental restaurant in Aspen Hill Maryland is hands down, one of the best of its kind in the tri-state (Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland) area. It's quite, affordable and the food is delicious! The service is such that they know your names after only a few visits and offer you your seat when you arrive. It is out of the way in a quite strip mall, so it's easily overlooked. If you are in this area and have not tried it, do yourself a favor and leave a comment to tell us what you thought!

STORYLINE:
Flooding caused by record-breaking rain has continued to affect the northeastern United States.
In the state of Maryland, thousands of people have been evacuated.
Two youths in the state are still missing as a result of the floods, after reportedly being caught in the fast moving waters of a swollen creek.
An estimated 2,200 people were ordered to evacuate an area surrounding Maryland's Lake Needwood.
The lake was approaching 25 feet (7.5 metres) above normal on Wednesday.
A county officer said engineers found weakened spots on the lake's earthen dam.
Thousands have also been ordered to leave their homes in the states of New Jersey and New York.
In upstate New York, flood waters from the East Canada Creek washed away a restaurant on Main Street in Dolgeville in Herkimer County, rupturing a gas line and causing a brief fire.
The deadly deluge that has swamped parts of the East Coast began cutting across upstate New York on Tuesday.
By Wednesday, several flood warnings had been posted and Governor George Pataki issued disaster declarations for a swath of central and eastern New York state.
The bad weather has been blamed for four deaths each in Maryland and Pennsylvania, one in Virginia and three in New York.
The weather was produced by a low-pressure system that has been stalled just offshore since the weekend and pumped moist tropical air northward along the East Coast.
Although the bulk of the rain moved out of the area on Wednesday, streams were still rising from the runoff and forecasters said more showers and occasional thunderstorms were possible along the East Coast for the rest of the week.

Welcome to Ten Mile Creek, Montgomery County's Last Best Creek
Welcome to Ten Mile Creek in Clarksburg, MD, where cool, clear water flows to Little Seneca Lake, the backup drinking water reservoir for 4.3 million people in the Washington, DC, region. Plans to develop the watershed for housing and an outlet mall now threaten to degrade the creek and the reservoir. Follow the stream from its headwaters to the lake, as it winds past a crayfish, cows, horses, a family of deer, and a chorus of songbirds and tree frogs. At the lake, in Black Hill Regional Park, you will be greeted by butterflies sipping nectar, evidence of beaver, and Canada geese. It's up to you to save this last healthy creek in Montgomery County and our drinking water supply!

The lake was approaching 25 feet (7.5 metres) above normal on Wednesday.
A county officer said engineers found weakened spots on the lake's earthen dam.
One official estimated that if the dam were to break, it could flood some areas as much as 20 feet (six metres) deep.
Thousands have also been ordered to leave their homes in New Jersey and New York.
Up to 200-thousand people in the Wilkes-Barre area in Pennsylvania were ordered to evacuate their homes on Wednesday because of rising water on the Susquehanna River, swelled by a record-breaking deluge that had killed at least 12 people across the Northeast.

Visiting Oxon Hill Farm in Oxon Hill, Maryland
We went to visit Oxon Hill Farm, located on Oxon Hill, Prince George's County, Maryland, and run by the National Park Service. It's a living farm museum on the outskirts of Washington, DC (along the Potomac River) with exhibits about farming, and plenty of animals to see. Shot in February 2018.
