HOW TO TRAVEL CHEAP IN 2019? DILIJAN, ARMENIA (Episode 2).There are a lot of ways to travel cheap nowadays. Being a budget-traveler I always find ways to travel at the lowest cost possible. Thanks to the accessible and travel-friendly public busses of Yerevan I was able to get to Dilijan not only one but twice. In this episode we are going to explore and discover the medieval monasteries of Dilijan, Armenia.
Exploring the Jukhtakvank and Matosavank monasteries were truly an experience! (mostly for me) Our journey was not very easy and so half-way through the trail my friends gave up and decided to head back to the city center leaving me all alone to complete the trail. It was challenging but I was ready for anything. Even more challenging was catching the last bus to Yerevan (we booked the ticket before the hike). According to our map the trail would only take 1 hour and 15 minutes but dear me it took us/me almost 5 hours to complete! That includes hitching a ride to Dilijan Bus Station. It was either we/I'm slow or the timing on the map was exaggerated! Hahaha.

Hey there! Who I am? I'm a photographer/filmmaker based in Armenia. Here I want to show you the nature of Armenia. So this time we went to Dilijan, *Lake Parz , here is a short film that I would like to share with you guys, hope you'll enjoy.
Lake Parz is a small lake located in the Dilijan National Park east of Dilijan in Armenia. The lake was formed by natural climatic changes. Parz in Armenian means clear.
In 2017 the Transcaucasian Trail was created to connect Parz Lake with the town of Dilijan and in the opposite direction with Gosh Village and Gosh Lake. The trail was created through the building of new trail segments to connect existing trails or dirt roads together.
In 2018 Trails For Change NGO has built a new trail that loops around the Lake.
At the Lake, you will find a restaurant, bar, paddleboat ropes course, and zip lines.
