HOLY LAKE Pühajärv Otepää | Estonia | Drone [4K]
The picturesque coastline and five islands of Lake Pühajärv make it the biggest lake in the region. There is a beach with a beach house, ball game courts, a children's playground, rest areas, cafés, and a pier by the northern tip of Lake Pühajärv. In the southern tip, there is the Kooliranna recreation area, where River Väike Emajõgi starts. Pühajärve Park is where the Murrumetsa hiking trail begins and there is also a 12 km hiking trail around Lake Pühajärv.

There are many springs in the lake and the Spring of Love is the most famous of these. Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso blessed the lake in 1991 and this event was commemorated with a wooden sculpture on the lake’s shore by the park.

[RUS] Озеро Пюхаярв со своей извилистой береговой линией и пятью островами является крупнейшим и живописнейшим озером в регионе. В северной оконечности Пюхаярв расположен пляж с пляжным корпусом, площадками для игры в мяч, детской игровой площадкой, местами для отдыха, кафе и лодочной пристанью. В южной оконечности озера находится зона отдыха Коолиранна и берет начало река Вяйке-Эмайыги. В парке озера Пюхаярв начинается туристическая тропа Мурруметса, вокруг озера идет туристическая тропа длиной 12 км.
Берега озера изобилуют родниками, самый известный из них Армуалликас в береговой излучине у хутора Пословитса. В 1991 г. озеро освятил Далай-Лама Тензин Гвацо, ио чем свидетельствует деревянная скульптура на берегу озера со стороны парка.

The sea was smooth as glass for our stop in Tallinn Estonia aboard the Holland America cruise ship Nieuw Statendam.
I'll be honest, I'd never heard of Estonia before our cruise. I didn't know what there would be to see during our stop there. Since we weren't doing an excursion through Holland America, it would be off to the old town in Tallinn to see the sites.
