And they’re almost here! Just some last preparations before we’re up for the highest peak of this Canton, it’s Titlis glacier mountain.
As soon as you leave the big cities, you’ll hear the mountains have their own sounds to tell ther stories. Using different words when you get closer and closer to the top.
The last stage of this trip includes the famous revolving gondola. Allowing you to have a 360 degrees view over the surroundings.
Well that is possible, cause this spot is very popular on the other side of the world. And before we see more from the glacier on top, we dive right into it!
This 150 meter long, man made cave, is a unique way to experience the millions tons of ice. But also notice…
But hey, no worries! If the glacier won’t break down on you, there is always an other neck breaking attraction. How about a little suspension bridge, at only 3 kilometers above sea level…?
Oh well, at least you can share your fear with a lot of others. And..
Yeah, it is. But we’ll stay in the mist just a little longer. It makes the ice flyer even more mysterious..

Well all in all it’s more than enough adventures for one day. Let’s get some sleep for an exciting day tomorrow.
Starting off at Trubsee, the four lake trail is one of the most beautiful hikes of central Switzerland. You can take the whole journey by foot or cheat a littlebit.
After the second cable car you’ll arrive at Engstlen lake. Where the most impressive and part of this hike is just about to begin.
After the second lake you’ll have to get over the mountain to the other side. Be sure you check the weather before you go, if this is what you want to see.

Titlis is a mountain in Alps at about 3200 meters above the sea level .The cable car to the Titlis departs from the town of Engelberg, about 45 minutes from Lucerne. The last section of the cable car features a revolving cable car, allowing you to enjoy the views all around.

Some Information about the Engelberg area:
Titlis is a mountain of the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Bern. At 3,238 metres (10,623 ft) above sea level, it is the highest summit of the range north of the Susten Pass, between the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland. It is mainly accessed from Engelberg (OW) on the north side and is famous as the site of the world's first rotating cable car. The cable car system connects Engelberg (996 m (3,268 ft)) to the summit of Klein Titlis (3,028 m (9,934 ft)) through the three stages of Gerschnialp (1,262 m (4,140 ft)), Trübsee (1,796 m (5,892 ft)) and Stand (2,428 m (7,966 ft)).
The last part of cable car leads above the glacier. At Klein Titlis, it is possible to visit an illuminated glacier cave from an entrance within the cable-car station, which also includes shops and restaurants. The Titlis Cliff Walk, the highest elevation suspension bridge in Europe, opened in December 2012, giving views across the Alps.

8EUB Engelberg-Trübsee-Stand Titlisexpress
Die 8er Kabinenbahn mitd em kreativen Namen Titisexpress wurde 2015 als Ersatz der Habegger 6er Kabinenbahn via Gerschnialp nach Trübsee gebaut. Sie besitzt neu aber keine Zwischenstation mehr auf Gerschnialp. Dafür wird mit der zweiten Sektion die Pendelbahn nach Stand gedoppelt. Damit können die Gäste erstmals in nur 2 Sektionen und ohne Umsteigen bis zur Titlis Rotair gelangen.
Technisch gesehen handelt es sich um eine Standart Doppelmayr Kabinenbahn. Einzig die unterirdisch gebaute Mittelstation wäre noch zu Erwähnen.

Wenn man in Engelberg, Richtung Titlis unterwegs ist dann lohnt sich ein Zwischenhalt beim Trübsee! Die Titlisbahnen in Engelberg, bieten für ALLE etwas. Wenn man mit der Familie in Engelberg unterwegs ist, lohnt es sich aber auf jeden Fall den Titlis zu besuchen. Perfekt als Kurztrip; für die neuen Gondeln ein Ticket lösen, bis zur Zwischenstation und zurück. Kleiner Geheimtipp man kann die Billette sogar Online kaufen dann musst du nicht mehr an der Kasse anstehen.
Im Winter bietet das Areal rund um das Hotel Trübsee etwas für jedes Alter.
Spielplatz mit rutsche, Tubing (reifen), Snow-Bikes und verschiedene Restaurants.
