Driving on Interstate 95 through entire state of North Carolina
Interstate 95 (I-95) is a major Interstate Highway, running along the East Coast of the United States from Florida to Maine. In North Carolina, I-95 runs diagonally across the eastern third of the state, from Rowland at the South Carolina border to Pleasant Hill at the Virginia border. From south to north, the route passes through or near the cities of Lumberton, Fayetteville, Wilson, Rocky Mount and Roanoke Rapids. The entire route is rural, forming the informal border between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain regions of the state. There are three auxiliary routes for I-95 in the state: Future I-295, a partially completed bypass of Fayetteville, I-495, a partially completed connector route between Rocky Mount and Raleigh that follows the current U.S. 64 freeway, and I-795, a spur route connecting I-95 to the city of Goldsboro.

God has created an awesome wonder in western North Carolina. The Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains converge in this area. There are many scenic drives, such as the Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others. There are many state and national parks that are a must-see. The back-road scenic drive from Colletsville to Blowing Rock is a great place to experience the wonders of a mountain stream called Wilson Creek. Cataloochee Valley is a great place to view wildlife such as the roaming elk. Maggie Valley is a great take-off point, as is Blowing Rock, Robbinsville, and Andrews. Fall is the best time to visit this area for the wonderful Fall Foliage experience. Grandfather Mountain and Mount Mitchell are two of the most scenic mountains in the eastern United States. Lake Lure, the site for the lake scenes of Dirty Dancing, is a great scenic walk with the lake and the mountains for a background. This area is truly one of the most beautiful in the United States. It is a great place to experience the beautiful handiwork of our Father who art in Heaven. God's not dead! He's still here! He's just hiding in the mountains waiting on true seekers.
