Dog racing (Greyhound racing) Vung Tau, Vietnam
A converted football stadium (Lam Son Stadium) that still caters to local games during the week, Lam Son Stadium hosts greyhound races every Saturday at 19:00. The only legal gambling venue in the country, come for the pageantry and place a few bets of your own.

General introduction
Vung Tau - Vietnam is at the turning point is changing direction from south to west and emerged from the mainland as a strip of land about 14 km long and about 6 km wide.
Vung Tau has 42 km of coastline, with mountains 245 m high and small mountains 170 m high. Bai Sau: Located south of Vung Tau, also known as Thuy Van or also known as Thuy Duong, runs nearly 10 km. This is one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam, long sandy beach, big waves, clear sea.
Front Beach: Also known as Tam Duong Beach, it is possible to watch the sunset in the afternoon. Front Beach has coconut trees running along the beach and is like a small wave with a beautiful arc.
Bai Dau: Also known as Phuong Thao beach, 3 km long, romantic and quiet

This is the traditional folk festival of Vung Tau fishermen and is the most important occasion for fishermen to gratify the fish (the whale), savior according to the concept of fishermen and fisheries in general. The festival is held on the 16th, 17th and 18th of August every year in Dinh Thang Tam, Vung Tau City. The festival is accompanied by marvelous procession procession, Ong Ong statue and performing arts on the city center route.

The coastal city of Vung Tau is a well-known tourist site in Vietnam.
Dog racing was introduced to Vietnam by Sport and Entertainment Service Company (SES-VN) and was officially licensed in 2001 in Vung Tau. Now Vung Tau is the only place in Vietnam and Southeast Asia that has this sport. The dogs are Greyhounds, a hunting dog breed from Ireland which were imported to Vietnam by Nguyen Ngoc My, a Vietnamese Australian man. Lam Son Stadium which serves as a dog racecourse and dog training centre has about 800 Greyhounds.
Dog racing is usually held on Saturdays so it is convenient for tourists to watch during their visit to Vung Tau.
