Q. Why do you speed up some of the footage in your videos?
A. We don't, we film it as time-lapse footage. We do not have the battery capacity or data storage to film in real time as our cruises can last up to 7 or 8 hours. We use to the time-lapse footage to help tell the story of movement rather than showcase the scenery. We limit the amount of time-lapse shots we use in each vlog.

Lancaster, or is a city and the county town of Lancashire, England. It is situated on the River Lune. Long existing as a commercial, cultural and educational centre, Lancaster is the settlement that gives Lancashire its name. Lancaster has several unique ties to the British monarchy; the House of Lancaster was a branch of the English royal family, whilst the Duchy of Lancaster holds large estates on behalf of Elizabeth II, who herself is also the Duke of Lancaster in her capacity as monarch.
Lancaster was granted city status in 1937 for its long association with the crown and because it was the county town of the King's Duchy of Lancaster. With its history based on its port and canal, Lancaster is an ancient settlement, dominated by Lancaster Castle, Lancaster Priory Church and the Ashton Memorial. It is also home to the campus-based Lancaster University and a campus of the University of Cumbria.
Lancaster is the most northerly city in Lancashire, located three miles 4.8 km inland from Morecambe Bay. The city is located on the River Lune (from which it derives its name), and the Lancaster Canal.
The M6 motorway passes to the east of Lancaster, with junctions 33 and 34 to the south and north respectively. Lancaster is served by the West Coast Main Line which runs through Lancaster railway station. This station was formerly named Lancaster Castle railway station in order to differentiate it from Lancaster Green Ayre railway station on the Leeds–Morecambe line, which closed in 1966. The main bus operator in Lancaster is Stagecoach, which operates over thirty services from Lancaster Bus Station to Lancaster and Morecambe as well as frequent services in Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and services throughout the North West of England. The Lancaster Canal and River Lune also pass through the city. The nearest airports are Manchester Airport, Liverpool Airport and, until October 2014, Blackpool International Airport.

Lancaster (Lancashire, UK)
The City of Lancaster is a local government district of Lancashire, England, with the status of a city and non-metropolitan district. It is named after its largest settlement, Lancaster, but covers a far larger area, which includes the towns of Morecambe, Heysham, and Carnforth, as well as outlying villages, farms, rural hinterland and (since 1 August 2016) a section of the Yorkshire Dales
National Park. The district has a population of 143,500 (mid-2016 est.),[and an area of 222.5 square miles (576.2 km2).
The current city boundaries were set as part of the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972, and cover an amalgamation of five former local government districts—the municipal boroughs of Lancaster and Morecambe and Heysham, together with the Carnforth Urban District and rural districts of Lancaster and Lunesdale, all from the administrative county of Lancashire.

Lancashire is a very historical county. The Romans were here and have left traces of their occupation . My favourite spots are the castle , Priory Church and River Lune Aqueduct which carries the Lancaster Canal . I hope this video truly delights since a
member of staff who works with the organist illustrates with live music how the two magnificent organs in the Priory church function together creating an astonishing acoustic effect. He is seen in the video and played this and other works for me . A great memory.Then on to the bridges walking along the Lune to the Aqueduct .I met a group of lively teenagers and found them to be interesting and a lot of fun .We discussed the pending election before they went off to the top of the Aqueduct .I said I'd follow later . Hence the delightful wave from all . All around were wild flowers , plenty of bird life and on returning to the station I was thrilled with the street sign.If you haven't been to Lancaster treat yourself .This historical , university town will delight .Excellent shopping , eating and cafes To date, Lancaster has not been spoiled .It retains and maintains a historical centre .Wonderful to see .
Lune Aqueduct in Lancaster (UK)
The Lune Aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Lancaster Canal over the River Lune, on the east side of the city of Lancaster in Lancashire, England. It was completed in 1797 at a total cost of £48,320 18s 10d. The structure bears two inscriptions: North side: To Public Prosperity. South side: Quae deerant adeunt: sociantur dissita: merces flumina conveniunt arte datura novas. A.D. MDCCXCVII. ING. I. RENNIE EXTRUX. A. STEVENS. P. ET F. [Source: Wikipedia].
