This is My Cornwall
This is my Cornwall, the beautiful, peaceful countryside at . I love the rural woodlands, fields and streams at Trevina, near St Neot in Cornwall.
It's where I grew up and for me, the most beautiful part of Cornwall... the rural countryside is so perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing undisturbed, this is why I love Cornwall.

Natural wonders - Isles of Scilly (Great Britain)
Natural wonders - Isles of Scilly
The Isles of Scilly are an archipelago off the southwestern tip of the Cornish peninsula of Great Britain. The population of all the islands at the 2011 census was 2,203. Scilly forms part of the ceremonial county of Cornwall, and some services are combined with those of Cornwall. However, since 1890, the islands have had a separate local authority. Since the passing of the Isles of Scilly Order 1930, this authority has had the status of a county council and today is known as the Council of the Isles of Scilly. The adjective Scillonian is sometimes used for people or things related to the archipelago. The Duchy of Cornwall owns most of the freehold land on the islands. Tourism is a major part of the local economy, along with farming and agriculture.

A Scilly Isles Holiday
Is the ferry crossing from Penzance to the Scilly Isles really as bad as they say it is?
Apparently, the 2 hour and 40 minute ferry crossing has a bit of a reputation for making you seasick - so much so that the ferry, the Scillonian III, has been nicknamed - The great white stomach pump!.
Well, I've never been on a ferry before or been to the Isles of Scilly before, which are suppose to be beautiful, so when I found myself at a loose end for a week it seemed like a good idea to do a bit of sight seeing in Penzance and Lands End in Cornwall, and perhaps, just perhaps, while I'm down there, I might book a seat on the great white stomach pump to the lovely Isles of Scilly...
I'm while I'm there do a bit of geocaching as well.
If you do decide to go on The great white stomach pump then take your mind off the vomiting and play this online coin flip general knowledge quiz
Visit Isles of Scilly - like nowhere else in England
Outstandingly beautiful, uncrowded and unspoilt. The Isles of Scilly lie just off the coast of Cornwall but seem like a world apart. Everyone who visits here falls in love. You might not put your finger on it right away, or it may be a mixture of emotions. But either way, we know that when you arrive, you will have the time of your life, and when it’s time to go, you’ll be yearning for more.
