Beautiful Unspoilt Picturesque fishing village of Sennen Cove and and the Beautiful Unspoilt Whitesand Bay This is one of Cornwall’s most popular beaches for families and watersport enthusiasts. The fabulous sands extend northwards from the village of Sennen Cove in the south to North Rocks where at low tide the sands join up with those of Gwynver beach forming a huge crescent around Whitesand Bay. Surfing and bass fishing are major attractions and some spectacular wildlife, such as dolphins, may be seen close to the beach. Sennen Cove is the nearest village to Land's End. An excellent sandy beach extends for a mile, becoming wilder and more dangerous at the northern end. Very popular with surfers
At top of Mayon Cliff it has stunning panoramic views across over to Land's End is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty
Not only is the scenery at Lands End steeped in natural beauty, Land’s End, with its rugged wave battered cliffs, is the most westerly point in mainland England and the most visited outdoor tourist attraction in Cornwall From the spectacular granite cliffs, on a clear day, the Isles of Scilly can be seen lying on that horizon. The cliffs at Land's End stand 200 feet above crashing waves, though the cliffs tumble down to nearly nothing at the furthest point of land. Land's End has been the centre of Cornish legends. Around the point from Land's End is Sennen, where a very popular beach draws visitors in search of sun and sand.
Land's End is a headland and holiday complex in western Cornwall, England. It is the most westerly point of mainland Cornwall and England, situated within the Penwith peninsula about eight miles west-south-west of Penzance The cliffs at Land's End stand 200 feet above crashing waves, though the cliffs tumble down to nearly nothing at the furthest point of land. Land's End has been the centre of Cornish legends. Some tales tell that the lost land of Lyonesse - a sort of British version of Atlantis - lies beneath the sea, and even that the spires of churches can be seen poking up from the ocean floor if conditions are right. Sailor's tales say that the sound of bells beneath the waves can be heard. Lyonesse was also said to be the lost Camelot of King Arthur legend. Around the point from Land's End is Sennen, where a very popular beach draws visitors in search of sun and sand.
Holy well of Saint Levan - II Holy well. Probably C18 on an ancient site. Granite rubble. Roughly square-on-plan roofless well house with east doorway, all built on a granite monolithic foundation stone. In front of the doorway is a sump and the water comes from a natural spring covered by granite lintels on the right. Scheduled Ancient
Porth Chapel beach is idyllically set below tall granite cliffs, with sands of broken shells dipping to the sea – it’s just a short walk from St Levan, tucked between Porthcurno and Porthgwarra and quite near to Land’s End.
Penberth Cove is still primarily a tiny fishing hamlet. There is a pebble beach. A river flows down through the wooded Penberth Valley into the cove
The Minack Theatre is Cornwall's world famous open-air theatre, carved into the granite cliff and set in glorious gardens overlooking the spectacular panorama of Porthcurno Bay. The. A woman called Rowena Cade designed the incredible theatre and undertook a lot of the building and decoration herself. In the summer of 1932,

Lyrics:
We’re starting at the end of the land, where Cornwall leaves the sea.
White hat, black pants, red top Bertha and me.
Past Penzance to St Michael’s, and Newquay’s beautiful bay.
The Camel trail and the Tarka trail and the disused rail-ia-away.
You won’t hear Wellington’s voices from the top of Glastonbury’s Tor.
But when you in Wells you’ll hear Cathederal bells, cos that’s what the music is for.
I’m ‘resting in peace’ where others lay, as Bristol’s coming under my wheel.
With the railway cars, the cables of Clifton and the sofa for the
way that you feel………………….
From the Llanthony bridge of Gloucester to Hestercombe’s pleasant lands.
Worcester’s spires, Nantwich’s fires to the Iron Bridge’s wonderful spans.
Manchester’s topiary gardens, on to Whalley Abbey as you do.
The Forest of Bowland and the circles of stone, with Penrith coming into our view.
Christ!, what was that, Bertha’s broken a spoke, Carlisle’s put a spanner in the works.
Feelin’ slightly sniffy but they fixed it in a jiffy, cos that’s serendipty’s perks.
So now we’re pushing on to the border, Caledonia awaits with open arms.
Have you ever been to Gretna Green, or felt Glaesga’s waterside
charms………………….
From the castle’s of Dumbarton and Balloch, down the cycle track to Callandar town.
Through the woods of England’s queen, as the Scottish sun keeps shining down.
The waters of Venachar and Lubnaig, making friends with a trinity of coos.
Riding through the skies of Glen Ogle, and the ghosts of a hundred choo choos.
Now we’re going on down to Killin, Castle Menzies and the Dochart Falls.
Down the shores of Loch Tay, there’s nothing in our way, till the
Scottish Crannog Centre calls.
Castle Blair in the sunshine, up to Drumochter’s high pass and summit.
Dalwhinnie’s tipple visitor centre, Ruthven Barrack’s if you don’t
want to slum it!.......................
Aviemore’s for skiing and tee’ing, Carrbridge for a jump and a splash.
Tomatin distills and will tempt you with its thrills if you offer them a little bit of cash.
Inverness Castle’s standing red, proud and strong, whilst the
Lovats are all resting in peace.
Down in the mists crossing Kessock, up to Struie’s view that never seems to cease.
The Bridges at Dornoch and Bonar, Sutherland’s wilderness awaits.
The comforts of Crask, Lairg to Tongue, this land must one of heaven’s gates.
Looking out across the River Naver, Castle of May no needs for moats.
Then I can’t believe my eyes, is it some kind of disguise,
Yes its John, its John, its John, its John, its John O’Groats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This fantastic ride from Land’s End to John o’Groats covers 1,200 miles on the National Cycle Network, broken into 28 achievable stages using on-road and traffic-free routes and taking you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in England and Scotland. Explore the Forest of Bowland, Loch Lomond and the Cairngorms on some of the best cycle paths in the UK.

LANDS END: A TRULY STUNNING LOCATION
This is us when we visited Lands End on our recent holiday to St Ives, Cornwall.
There is also a visitors centre with various attractions that are OK, but they don't compare to the awe inspiring views and the sheer vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, which makes you realise just how small you are.
If you are ever within driving distance it is a definite must visit.

Tour of Kernow (Cornwall)
Cornwall (Kernow), England filmed on location while on holiday with my family. First stop, visiting Mevagissey, the Piskie Garden, Valley Side Piskie Gnome, Llawnroc Inn Penzance and the local bay with sea gulls.
One evening we had the delight of watching the sunset on the beach; and the following day a visit to Porthleven, Cornwall (Kernow).
The it was onto Mullion Cove, on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall to feed and film the seagulls before moving onto Poldhu Cove, also on the Lizard Peninsula.
The following day we visited Lands End to see the 'First and Last' Refreshment House in England before seeing the shipwreck of RMS Hulhiem, which ran onto the rocks on 22nd March 2003.
From Lands End we drove just up the coast to Sennen Cove overlooked by WWII coastal defences and where on the beach people were having a BBQ and in the water others were having fun in canoes; after our visit to Sennen Cove we made our way back to our holiday cottage for the night.
Then on the following day was a visit to St. Michael's Mount, and a day on the beach at Mount's Bay. On further exploring Cornwall beaches we took the Coastal Path to Praa Sands,
On the last day a stop off at Padstow for our final visit in Cornwall before our homeward journey; the video ends with a bike riding high!

Exploring the beaches and rockpools along the coastline is a great (and free) way for children of all ages to enjoy Newquay. Step off the sand and there are a number of places to visit in the town, such as Newquay Zoo in Trenance Park, a 20 minute walk from the seafront, The Blue Reef Aquarium on Town Beach in the centre and Tunnels through Time.
Further afield there are many attractions within a short drive, such Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park, the Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Dairyland Farm World all of which are within a 10 mile drive. Further afield, The Eden Project, The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Flambards in Helston and Land's End make for great days out.
Newquay's history is influenced by Cornish tin mining trades where the town became a port for the transportation of tin lead and clay during the industrial revolution. The area rich in stories of smuggling and shipwrecks as the Atlantic takes its toll on the coastline. This can be explored at the heritage coast centres and tourist information centres dotted along the coastline.
Other notable sites in Cornwall include Tintagel Castle (25 miles), the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, Charlestown Shipwreck Centre (20 miles), Geevor Tin Mine (35 miles) in West Cornwall, The Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro (10 miles), Poldark Mine (20 miles) and Pendennis Castle (25 miles).
