Ski & Snowboard Simulators by SkyTechSport at China (Langfang) International Economic and Trade Fair
China (Langfang) International Economic and Trade Fair, or just 5·18, has been organised by the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce,Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce and the People's Government of Langfang City for as long as 34 years! It's one of the most influential comprehensive economic and trade events in the whole north of China. Major topics discussed and showcased included big data and cloud computing, environmental protection, integrated city development, and others.
In preparation for 2022 Winter Olympics, our Chinese office brought there SkyTechSport President Lux Simulator with a giant screen.
The governor of the Hebei province came to our stand to learn about the technology still relatively new for China. He highlighted the importance of education, including making sports training available in any place and for everyone. He was particularly impressed by the opportunities the simulators give: learning how to ski in a couple of hours, correcting mistakes, training downhill on specific racecourses etc.

Langfang's Nature Park
Only an hour from Beijing is Langfang. Not famous at all by Chinese standards, Langfang does have its sites. One of these sites is the Nature Park which is quite large. We took a lovely ride through this park and met some locals from Hebei Province who were posing atop some beautiful elephant sculptures near a grassy knoll.

BOW & PWT China Tour 2018 Race 5, Sprint
PWT China Tour 2018 was organized together with the 3rd Beijing Orienteering Week and the main supporter of the tour, Learnjoy. The five PWT events took place around Beijing and nearby areas. The overall winners on the 2018 tour were Yannick Michiels (BEL) and Karolin Ohlsson (SWE).
The fifth and final race of the PWT China tour 2018 took place in the beautiful surroundings of Linqigu orienteering town in the Langfang region, south of Beijing. The grounds of Linqigu orienteering town offered a charming surrounding for the race worthy to conclude this year’s tour. Organized together with the China open races, there was a magnificent atmosphere in the arena with several hundred orienteers, huge screen and a big TV production for CCTV 5 – the biggest sports channel in China. The terrain itself was an outdoor park area, which was divided in to several different terrain types from open grass land and sandy forest to ”swedish” style cottage village and flower gardens. The courses had parts of very physical character but also as a counter-part, a section of ”labyrinth” orienteering with a 1:1500 map that took place among the cottages.

Explainer: Why Xinjiang is so important to China

The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is one of the most tightly controlled areas in China. Human rights activists accuse the Chinese government of carrying out a full scale crackdown on ethnic Uygurs and other Muslim minorities who live in the region, sending up to 1 million to political re-education camps. But authorities say the sweeping security measures are to fight terrorist threats to keep the country safe.

Tour of My APARTMENT in QINHUANGDAO, Hebei, China! (河北省秦皇岛市)
I have been living in China for over 2 years and I finally decided to upload a tour of the apartment I have been living in. The city I live in is called Qinhuangdao (秦皇岛)and it is located in the Hebei (河北)province.
This apartment was provided to me for free by my school and it is located on the school campus.
This city is quite small by Chinese standards and there doesn't seem to be many videos that showcase it so I would like to change that because this is my favourite city in China. I would love to show this awesome city to more people. It has everything I need: a relatively clean environment, beaches and it isn't crowded.
Please feel free to send me any questions you may have and I will be happy to be of assistance.

Man viciously beats woman in front of her child, after she asked him to stop smoking
In Langfang city, north China’s Hebei Province last Wednesday, a surveillance camera in a building's elevator showed a man viciously beating and punching a woman non-stop for 30 seconds, after the victim asked the man to stop smoking.
The video triggered massive outrage on social media in China, especially when netizens found that the woman’s young child was standing just behind her, crying as her mother was assaulted. The victim said, “my kid was scared and he(the man) kept hitting me until the elevator went to the ninth floor. I have never seen such an inhuman thug before!”
The man fled the scene, and local police have appealed for help in finding the suspect. Many Chinese netizens strongly criticized the man’s savage act, and insisted that people should not smoke in public areas, especially in enclosed spaces like elevators.
