LANGKAWI NIGHT MARKET | MALAYSIA (WeWillNomad)
On every day of the week, a night market (also known as Pasar Malam in Malay) sets up in different places of Langkawi. There is a different and designated location for the market each day. The Thursday Night Market is the closest location to Pantai Cenang area - Temoyong Night Market. It's is a lively affair with local vendors setting up makeshift stalls along a stretch of road, selling all kinds of local items making it a great place for trying out various types of local food at relatively cheap prices. Look out for various freshly prepared Malay food such as Pisang Goreng (fried bananas), keropok lekor (fish crackers), nasi lemak, fried noodles and nasi Ayam (chicken rice).
The market starts around 6pm, but we would suggest getting there a little earlier so that you have the full selection available as some things do sell out! Be sure to read our posts on Malaysian Cuisine and Malaysian Sweet Treats to know what else you should look out for and try!
Thanks for watching!

Walkthrough #Uncut | Night Market in Kuah City, Langkawi, Malaysia
Today I visited Kuah City on Langkawi in Malaysia. I have never been to this one and I wanted to try it out, a kind of Walkthrough Video, uncut. The Night Markets on this island are really worth visiting. May it be you are looking for cheap delicious food or want to have all food diversity at one single place. Drink fresh pressed Mango juice or one of the local drinks. I like the coconut drink, grape juice and Iced Lime Juice as well. Get some snacks and local desserts, and finally closing the evening and your meal with a big portion of a quarter watermelon for just 2 Ringgit MYR (0,40€ / 0,48$). Enjoy.
This is a first video. Please make a comment on how I can improve my videos. Do you like this one? Feed me with a big portion of MOTIVATION by subscribing. Thank you.

SUPER CHEAP & DELICIOUS | BEST Night Market Langkawi Malaysia |
Street food and night market here in Langkawi, Malaysia gives us the best food experience. Temonyong Night Market is well known as a hidden place to get super cheap and delicious authentic local malaysian food & dessert.
A lot of extremely cheap food is everywhere; fresh mango juice, Roti, Spring rolls, Grilled chicken, Chicken Satay, and souvenir and cloths stalls all around. The food was decent especially for the tiny amount you were paying but the atmosphere was what we enjoyed the most. It was the activity we did in Langkawi where we didn't feel like a tourist like every other place. So if you are in Langkawi and want a bit of a less touristy thing to do and get a good feed for next to nothing then give the nighty markets it a go you'll enjoy it.

Langkawi Malaysia Kuah Night Market Satay
Langkawi Malaysia Kuah Night Market. This was about 400M from the Hotel Bayview, and I think only available during weekends. Plenty of stores and also a good crowd. Lots of food being prepared and I was not sure whether the street hawkers could be able to sell off all the food that evening, but I guess they know what they are doing. Satay seems to be a favourite.
CHEAP & DELICIOUS - Night Market. BEST Local Food in Langkawi, Malaysia
S1E17 - Another tasty episode! ;) There's no better place to try the best local foods, drinks & sweets than visiting big outdoor market! So here we are at Thursday Night Market in Langkawi, Malaysia. This is by far the best place to get the feel for Malay culture, try some tasty Malaysian dishes and just have some good time! The prices are super cheap, a specially for a westerners. We highly recommend to try (our favorite) Murtabak, as well as dessert treats Dorayaki. Make sure to come here early so you don't miss some of the most popular foods and treats offered. We suggest to get here around 6pm so you get a chance to see this market both, in day light and at night. Have fun and enjoy your watering mouth! ;)

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

On every day of the week, a night market (also known as Pasar Malam in Malay) sets up in different places of Langkawi. There is a different and designated location for the market each day. It is like a country bazaar or a street market. Many vendors and villagers set up makeshift stalls at these markets and sell all kinds of local items including food & snacks, fresh produce, fruits & juices, clothes, souvenirs and trinkets, watches, sunglasses, wallets & hand bags, paintings, DVDs and many other small items.
These local markets are great for trying out various types of local food at relatively cheap prices. The atmosphere is also quite friendly. The night market is a great meeting place for the locals and expatriates, and if you are a tourist, it's a great opportunity to meet and be with locals and enjoy local food. Although there is nothing much to shop here, it is mostly popular for a wide range of Malay dishes that are prepared and served piping hot at a very reasonable price.
Some of the dishes that are our favorites here include the grilled seafood, chicken or beef satay, murtabak, green mango salad, lemon grass chicken on sticks, fresh fruit juices and so on. Some dishes can be really spicy. This is the favorite pace for the local working class, who come here after the tiring day's work and have hot dinner at a cheap price. Two persons can easily have sumptuous meals for a total of RM15.
Here are all the weekly Night Market locations:
1. Sunday Night Market at Padang Matsirat - Takes place on every Sunday night at the large car park area near the Field of Burnt Rice.
2. Monday Night Market at Ulu Melaka (Jalan Makam Mahsuri Lama)
3. Tuesday Night Market at Kedawang
4. Wednesday Night Market at Kuah Town
5. Thursday night Market at Temoyong Night Market in Pantai Cenang. It takes place on every Thursday night at the Tamoyong village in Pantai Cenang.
6. Friday Night Market at Air Hangat - Padang Lalang
7. Saturday Night Market is again at Kuah Town
However the largest and the most active night markets out of the seven above are the ones at Kuah and Padang Matsirat.

Pristine beaches and vast mountains aside, Langkawi’s duty-free shopping is the next best reason to visit the tropical island. With a large concentration of duty-free stores that stock in-demand items ranging from cigarettes, liquor and chocolates to luggage, sports shoes, perfumes, and cooking utensils, Langkawi is undoubtedly a shopper’s paradise.
