The name of the city literally means Beautiful Water, but the pronunciation of its first character is lí, not the usual lì.

Huangshan Mountain
Huangshan Mountain is located in Huangshan City, southern Anhui Province. It has 72 peaks. The main peak of Lianhua Peak is 1864 meters above sea level. Lianhua Peak is also called the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain, one of the 36 peaks, together with Guangming Peak and Tiandu Peak.Mount. Huangshan is the only mountain scenery in China's top ten scenic spots.Later, because the legend of the Huang Emperor in this alchemy, it was renamed Huangshan.Huangshan Mountain, originally known as Yishan Mountain, is black and blue because of its peak rock.Three waterfalls: Renzi waterfall, Baizhangquan and Jiulong waterfall.Huangshan welcoming pine is a symbol of the warm friendship of Anhui people.The representative landscapes of Huangshan Mountain are Four Unique Sceneries and Three Waterfalls.Four unique sceneries: Qisong, Weishi, Yunhai, Hot Spring;Huangshan bears the Oriental etiquette culture of embracing the world.
The West China Sea Grand Canyon
The West China Sea Grand Canyon is a space surrounded by nearby stone pillar peaks, stone bed peaks, thin knife peaks and flying stones in front of the right, opposite Paiyun Pavilion, Danxia Peak, Pinglin Peak, Jiulong Peak and Yunwai Peak in front of the left.Xihai Grand Canyon Ground Rail Cable Car, the next station is located at the bottom of the valley at 1209 meters above sea level, and the last station is located at the Stone Bed Peak in the Tianhai Scenic Area. The whole journey of the cable car is 892 meters, with an elevation difference of 497 meters.
The peculiar pine trees in Huangshan Mountain have various shapes, or stand tall and erect like giants in the sky; or the green branches stretch out like flowing water and clouds;or the roots of tamarind stick together like Canglong Lingbo; or the vigorous and mighty tigers return to the mountains like welcoming pine, seeing off pine and accompanying pine, which make people feel more cordial;the harp pine, Lianli pine, exploring pine and imaginative.
Wonderful rocks of the Huangshan Mountains are dotted with magnificent peaks and seas of the Huangshan Mountains. They are unique in shape, big or small, competing and interesting. Its form is very strange and amazing. Similar to human beings, birds and beasts, different modalities, vivid images, vivid, interesting.
Hongcun
Hongcun Ancient Architectural Complex is located 11 kilometers northeast of Yixian Town, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It is a residential complex in Huizhou during Ming, Qing and Hongcun is surrounded by mountains on three sides, representing buildings such as Nanhu Academy, Yuexutang, Chengzhi Tang and more than 100 Ming and Qing Dynasty dwellings.

Yaoli (Chinese: 瑶里; pinyin: Yáolǐ) is a town of Fuliang County, in the north-east of Jiangxi province, China, located on the mountainous border region with Anhui. Yaoli is a popular tourism site for its mountain scenery, well preserved old buildings, and historic production of both Chinese porcelain and its main material, petuntse or porcelain stone. Ceramic production seems to have begun as early as the Tang dynasty, but declined by around 1600 under the Ming dynasty, leaving several abandoned dragon kilns that have been preserved, and a town centre that was largely unchanged until recent years. Both mining of porcelain stone and the production of porcelain continue on a smaller scale, using rather traditional methods.

The Mystery of The Longyou Caves
In 1992, a strangely curious man named Wu Anai, near the Chinese village of Shiyan Beicun in Longyou County, based on a hunch, began to pump water out of a pond in his village. Anai believed the pond was not natural, nor was it infinitely deep as the local lore went, and he decided to prove it. He convinced some of his villagers and together they bought a water pump and began to siphon water out of the pond. After 17 days of pumping, the water level fell enough to reveal the flooded entrance to an ancient, man-made cave, confirming Anai’s suspicion.
This cave, now called the Longyou Caves, represent one of the largest underground excavation made during ancient times. A total of 24 hand-dug caves were eventually discovered, each with an average floor area of a thousand square meters and ceilings that reaches heights of up to 30 meters. The total area covered by all the caves exceeds 30,000 square meters.

The 2'6 gauge former logging line climbs from sea level to 8000' in just fifty miles so is certainly one of the World's most remarkable Narrow Gauge railways
Created in Google Earth Pro, rendered out as an Image Sequence and finished in DaVinci Resolve.
I'm guiding a series of guided, small group narrow gauge railway tours to Taiwan and Japan. Highlights of the Taiwan tour is a visit to the spectacular Alishan Forest Railway which climbs from sea level to 2.200m in just 75 kilometers and on special occasions, still operates a Shay geared locomotive!
