KPR Pink Flash Mob at Lansdowne Place

A flash group of 200 Adam Scott students, both elementary and collegiate wings, perform at Lansdowne Place, in Peterborough ON, wearing pink to raise awareness about anti-bullying. It was one of the several activities taking place across the Kawartha Pine Ridge Disctict School Board for Pink Shirt Day.

Unique Modernized Otis Hydraulic Elevator @ Lansdowne Place, Peterborough ON

This elevator probably used to have Otis Series 1 fixtures or maybe later Lexan fixtures, but it has received a rather unusual modernization. The call buttons and floor buttons are (I believe) Dewhurst M20, but the door open/close and emergency buttons are just the regular Series M2 fixtures. Overall, I must say that this is actually a very nicely done modernization, and it’s nice to see something like this that’s out of the norm.
