A Rockin' New Years Eve With Elvis Presley | Highlights From Pittsburgh 1976
In 1976 Elvis Presley toured the United States like no other year. Quantity does not directly bring quality. As a performing artist Elvis had lowered the bar quite a bit during the year.
In December however, Elvis regained some of the old spirit and gave some performances that rank amongst the better performances of the final years.
On December 31, 1976 Elvis was booked to entertain a sold out Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. The crowd of over 16K saw a show that could equal the shows Elvis performed in his prime, some 4-6 years previously.
How better to celebrate the new year than with this great new years eve show? If you were there, that night on December 31, 1976 in the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, please feel free and share your memories below in the comment section. Happy New Year Everybody!

ELVIS PRESLEY - WikiVidi Documentary
Elvis Aaron Presley was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the King of Rock and Roll or simply the King. Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family when he was 13 years old. His music career began there in 1954, recording at Sun Records with producer Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African-American music to a wider audience. Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, Presley was a pioneer of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. In 1955, drummer D. J. Fontana joined to complete the lineup of Presley's classic quartet and RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Colonel Tom Parker, who would manage him for more than two decades. Presley's first RCA single, Heartbreak Hotel, was released in January 1956 and became a number one hit in the U...

Report on ESP / Cops and Robbers / The Legend of Jimmy Blue Eyes
Extrasensory perception (ESP) involves reception of information not gained through the recognized physical senses but sensed with the mind. The term was adopted by Duke University psychologist J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as telepathy, clairaudience, and clairvoyance, and their trans-temporal operation as precognition or retrocognition. ESP is also sometimes casually referred to as a sixth sense, gut instinct or hunch, which are historical English idioms. It is also sometimes referred to as intuition. The term implies acquisition of information by means external to the basic limiting assumptions of science, such as that organisms can only receive information from the past to the present.
Parapsychology is the pseudoscientific[1] study of paranormal psychic phenomena, including ESP. Parapsychologists generally regard such tests as the ganzfeld experiment as providing compelling evidence for the existence of ESP. The scientific community rejects ESP due to the absence of an evidence base, the lack of a theory which would explain ESP, and the lack of experimental techniques which can provide reliably positive results.
Vincent Jimmy Blue Eyes Alo (May 26, 1904 -- March 9, 2001) was a New York mobster and member of the Genovese crime family who set up casino operations with mob associate Meyer Lansky in Florida and Cuba.
