One Day Pakse Waterfall Tour | Southern Laos | Bolaven Plateau
With only one day to explore Pakse, on the Bolaven Plateau in Southern Laos, we decided to take a tour exploring the famous and beautiful waterfalls of the area. It's also an area famous for coffee, tea and pepper, which means there's some really lovely cafes with amazing fresh drinks in gorgeous jungle settings along the route.

Siem Reap to Pakse, Laos //Laos travel
I'm leaving Cambodia and heading to my next country, Laos! Pakse Laos is a stop over town on some sort in between the 4,000 islands along the Mekong and the bigger cities further north. I loved this little quiet town, and the only time I saw tourists were in my hostel. It felt super local, which I loved. It is a really great taste of the beauty of Laos!

CRAZY LAOS BUS RIDE ADVENTURE - Phonsavan to Pakse Laos
I take a 20 hour bus ride from Phonsavan to Pakse in Laos, this is one eventful bus ride i won't forget, it was funny in a way yet astounding, from broken bus seats to veges and rice stored in the center isle, to old Laos men smoking Opium out the window, to driving in potholes to getting stuck in land slide mud and getting pulled out by a digger to the bus eventually breaking down and the passengers pushing it to start it. I didn't vlog it all but got some key parts, if you want a real bus ride then you gotta try a Laos bus! it's an adventure ride you won't forget!!.

Laos Travel Vlog #2: Mekong Boat Cruise, Village Visit, and Local Rice Whiskey
Dwight's begins cruising down the Mekong towards Luang Prabang!
More info on Dwight aka Bangkok Fatty here:
Follow Dwight at @bkkfatty on Instagram and Twitter and on FB at
This is day 2 in Laos, find the previous episode:
In this episode Dwight boards the Luangsay Cruise down the Mekong River in Pak Beng. After a few hours on the boat it stops in a small village called Bor or Baw where you can buy silk scarves from the villages and see how they live. The village is made up of both Lao and Khmu people.
However, the area surrounding the village especially is quite impoverished and the many kids from the surrounding areas come to sell bracelets to tourists. The village also does not offer many other products besides the scarves.
You can try local Lao-lao or rice whiskey, but it was not for sale. In other places in Laos you will see the homemade spirit packaged with snakes and scorpions for tourists hoping to take the novelty items back to their country.
Stay tuned for more episodes!

FIRST 24 HOURS in Vientiane, Laos - TOP SIGHTS & LOCAL FOOD | Vlog 049
After an amazing 4 weeks in Vietnam we jump on a plane and fly to the capital of Laos, Vientiane. With only a few days in the city (and country in general) we are on a mission to see the sights and eat as much local food as we can stomach!
We visit Pha That Luang, find an amazing spot for views over the city at the top of Patuxai (Victory Monument) and eat the classic local dish, larb.
