Husky Safari, Levi Finland- Unforgettable
Day two of the Finland Adventures in Levi, and we did a Husky Safari. Being dragged across the landscape by energetic wolf/huskies was an incredible experience and one I will never forget. Massive thanks to Tundra Husky Safaris for the experience. We also got to meet some reindeer and grill some sausages by the fire :). Happy days.
Watch out for the husky puppies and the Howling Huskies too.

Snow Village is a magical world of ice and snow. 15 million kilos of snow and 300 000 kilos of crystal clear natural ice are used to build the spectacular Snow Village each year.
And each year the shape, size and design chnage to amaze visitors.
It covers an area of about 20 000 square metres. The Snow Village consists of a Snow Hotel, with snow rooms and suites, Ice Restaurant, Ice Cocktail Bar, Chapel, a slide and a vast network of striking corridors full of spectacular snow and ice art to explore.

Northern Lapland, Levi: Finland Trip
Had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go all the way to the top of Finland to visit the Northern Lapland, see the Northern Lights, and stay at the Levi Ski Resort. Spent most of this trip in 0° F to -5° F weather but I was surrounded by the most beautiful scenery, experienced the most incredible excursions, and meet the most amazing people. This was one of the most magical and unreal experiences of my life and I am so happy to have gone on this trip. It was truly a Winter Wonderland!

Iedereen heeft er een bepaald idee bij als het woord Lapland valt, maar er zijn maar weinig mensen die er echt zijn geweest. Inmiddels mag ik tot een van de ervaringsdeskundigen rekenen want vorig jaar ben ik een week in Fins Lapland op wintersport geweest.
Het heeft mijn verwachtingen ingelost en eigenlijk meer dan dat. Als je op Kittilä vliegt liggen er twee middelgrote skigebieden op minder dan een half uur rijden, Levi en Ylläs. In deze video laat ik zien wat ik naast skiën nog meer heb gedaan. Conclusie: je hoeft je hier niet te vervelen.
