Laser Tag After Dark at Laser Quest Woking
Laser Tag isn't just for childrens' Parties. After dark, with the kids tucked up in bed, a committed hardcore of adult players congregate and battle until the early hours. There's no hiding in the shadows; this is up close and personal. In the years since 1989, when Laser Quest first began, a competitive style has evolved that is unforgiving and fast.
This was a test shoot to see if it's practical to shoot in such a dark environment, and to capture the frenetic mood of the tournament. Ultimately, we'd like to produce a feature length documentary, retracing the history of Laser Tag in the UK, looking back at the various systems, and featuring interviews of the pivotal people in the Laser Tag world. Harrier VX 808 being run up Sunday 5th November 2017
Somewhere deep in Shropshire there's a Harrier Jump Jet XV 808 which is being stored in near perfect condition, from time to time it is taken out and has the cob-webs blow off and run up, this is one of those days when I had the privilege to witness it being run-up.
It is SO loud when standing close.
XW808 First flew 1971 as a GR1.
Below is a résumé of flights in XV808 during FL Ian Wilke's Harrier career 1980-89.

1. May 13 1981 - 2 consecutive sorties flying out of field site - Exercise Handy Forge on FAC(Forward Air Controller) missions.
2. May 21 - Again, 2 consecutive FAC missions from field site.
3. June 01 - 1v1 combat.
4. July 08 - 3 ship SAP (Simulated Attack Profile - Low level sortie with filmed attacks on 2 or 3 targets plus FRA - timed practice bomb drop on weapons range).
5. July 18 - 1v1 combat.
6. July 27 - Nordhorn range FRA(First run attack) plus bombs & guns.
7. Sept 15 - 2v2 combat.
8. Sept 17 - 2v2 combat.

Battle of Britnerf | Speedball Round | #NerfGameplay #27
After the main games of the day, the evening consisted of many rounds of speedball, this is just one of the rounds featuring Tom from Foam Data Services, and a BigAl running across the screen at the beginning as part of the Nerf Pap that consisted of UKNerfWar, BigAl and myself.
Blue team got wrecked by the red team.

Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police are being taken through a Taser training course by U.S. Marines from 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Headquarters Group at Fort Bonifacio, Philippines during the Non-Lethal Weapons Executive Seminar. The effective use of non-lethal weapons can be extremely valuable during rescue missions, for force protection in civil disturbances, while controlling rioting and prisoners of war, for checkpoint of convoy operations, HA/DR operations, or in situations in which civilians are used to mask a military attack.

UK: Helicopter debris lifted from Glasgow crash site
The remains of a police helicopter that crashed into a crowded Glasgow pub on Saturday evening was lifted by crane out of the rubble of the collapsed building, Monday.
Eight people were killed and 14 seriously injured in the incident.
