Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

1 foot = 30 centimetres
1 mile = 1.6 kilometres

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
Anyone that has any questions, please feel free the comment below and I will answer them for you.

Bus Nation Pilot Part 1
WATCH THE PILOT AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK BY MAKING A COMMENT. GO ON FACEBOOK AND JOIN THE GROUP 'GET BUS NATION ON TV NOW' (if you want to that is) ...If we get enough loving we'll make the 2nd one... if we don't and you think it's just bloody awful then we'll probably stay at home with some tea and biscuits.
Is it a holiday video or a documentary? What would happen if you filmed your way around the counties of Great Britain, extracting historical and modern snippets of interest as you went. What would happen if you could only travel using the good ol local bus service? Could you get everywhere that youd want to visit? And what would happen if you threw in some unsigned music also? Bus Nation would happen... that's what!
The Bus Nation project has undergone some conceptual surgery and friends and supporters of the project may be interested to know that the show will be concentrating on the counties of Britain, where they are, what they have to offer and what gems of national interest or non-interest lie within. Of course the whole challenge aspect remains: whether or not it's possible or not to achieve this by using the public bus service ONLY. The big question is 'can we access the wonders of our local hidden treasures on the good ol' bus?' or is the bus simply a means of getting to and from the humdrum routine of work. Within each episode there are facts-a-plenty, stories to enthral, local legends and ghostly goings on to be discovered. The rest of the show is just sheer fun, toil and trouble.
The project has been in the making for two years and (in a nutshell) is about three thirty-something companions (Mike, Kier and Steve) who travel alongside Bad Jack (responsible for many things as well as filming the whole experience). Almost talisman-esque, there's also the catchy and folky Bus Nation song to band about and get people singing in the local, cultural fashion. Gawp in endearment as the BN team embark on a challenge that will unearth amazing discoveries, long lost treasures (fnar fnar), real heroes.. as well as a few worms, bits of old action figures and sweet wrapers but that's expected when you're digging around a bit. To explain the show in one paragraph: Bus Nation is one feast of a journey with an option of national or local history for starters with a lovely pudding containing culture and craziness to round it all off before bedtime.
