Biography
Raj Sharma began his comedy career in 2002 and has never looked back. A chance trip to The Improv changed his life forever. Born and raised in Texas, and brought up in a traditional Hindu household, gave him all the influence he needed.

He is an original member of The Gurus of Comedy, Pundits with Punchlines, and The United Colors of Comedy. 8 years in and Raj has worked with some of the best comics in the business like: Tom Rhodes, Carl LaBove, Pablo Francisco, Frank Caliendo, Brian Regan, Bruce Bruce, and many more.

His passion for comedy (and a lot of luck) has taken him across the country and across the globe, working in such clubs as The Comedy Store (Los Angeles), Caroline's on Broadway (New York City), The Punchline (Atlanta), The Improv (Dallas, Houston, San Jose and Hollywood), Up The Creek (Greenwich-England) and The Laughter Lounge (Dublin and Belfast-Ireland) to name a few. Along with clubs, Raj has performed at numerous colleges and corporate events.

His style of humor can be enjoyed by anyone of any age or background. Hilarious everyday observations, combined with his upbringing and sensational crowd work, is what you can expect at every show.

The Store House @ The Cova Bars is please to announce an amalgamation of two great nights bringing the best comedy acts alongside the best sounds in town on the first Friday of every month.
Not just a comedy club, not just disco - but both. Side splitting gags feature as the hottest local and national acts take to the stage to deliver a riotous repertoire of wisecracks and witticism that are fit to tickle every rib. The jokes are non stop between 9:30 and 11:30, sandwiched between the biggest dancefloor tunes as played by resident Phil McCrorie.

The first in the series of these great events takes place on Friday 5th Aug and features:

HEADLINER: COLIN GEDDIS ('I AM FIGHTER' / AUDIO PICNIC)
Having risen to fame on YouTube as Barry the Blender Henderson in the I AM FIGHTER series of films, Colin Geddis is also one of the country's most fearless stand-up comedians and comedy writers. One of the resident MCs at the Portrush Playhouse and Victoria's in Belfast, Geddis is also a regular at the Belfast Empire and comedy clubs and festivals across Northern Ireland.

FINCHIE COVENEY
Comedian Finbarr 'Finchie' Coveney has been causing a stir in the people's republic of Cork and around Ireland with his mad-cap stand up performances, earning himself a place in the 2011 finals of the prestigious So You Think You're Funny competition. With past winners including household names such as Peter Kay, Dylan Moran and Lee Mack, this is a great opportunity to see a future comedy legend.

HOST: DIARMUID CORR
With the first series of his BBC TV show Sketchy under his belt, and with the second series due later this year, Diarmuid Corr is one of Northern Ireland's most talented stand-up comedians, writers and comic actors. With his laid back story telling style, sharp wit and Fermanagh charm, Corr regularly performs in the Laughter Lounge all over Ireland, and is a hit with audiences in The Belfast Empire and Black Box.

Aggressors BC - AGGRESSORS

Aggressors B.C hail from Belfast City. They came together to form the band in 2009 after years of discussing their musical influences. They feature members from Belfast based bands Runnin'Riot, Pocket Billiards, Boss Sound Manifesto & 1000 Drunken Nights.
They released their first 8 song Demo Boss sounds from Titanic town in 2010 the band played their first gig supporting Vic Ruggerio of The Slackers and have been lucky enough to share a stage with bands such as Pama International, The Slackers, Les Skalopes, RDF, Steve Ignorant, The Splitters, Smoke Like a Fish, Beer Beer orchestra and many more.
They've taken their sound to venues all over Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
They play upbeat Ska, 2 tone, Rocksteady and Reggae. Their debut album The Tone Of The Times was released in the summer of 2013.The Album was a serious labour of love that took up to 18 months recording, over dubbing and mixing that seen the band cut the album down to 13 tracks.
The album covers themes of anti-racism, laughter & loss with a few tales of what goes down in Belfast town!
