If you are looking for day trips from Dubrovnik, Croatia, consider going to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. You will stop in Kravice Falls after the Bosnia border crossing you will go back through a Croatia border crossing you will be back in Bosnia again. Bosnia and Herzegovina travel is not challenging. This is a budget travel trip. You will enjoy some time viewing with Stari Most Bridge. You will also get to see a Stari Most Bridge jump if you are lucky. The Kravice waterfalls was my favorite. Get out of Dubrovnik for the day and head south to the diminutive country of Montenegro on this guided tour. Our last day in Dubrovnik. We spent the day in the Old Town, Old Port, Buza Bar or Cliff Bar, Dubravka Restaurant and Takeaway Bar. We also visited Konzum grocery store for the 2nd time, Mlinar bakery and Dubrovnik ice cream. The following day we have an early flight to London.

Dubrovnik to Mostar
After landing less than 24 hours into Dubrovnik from Portland, Oregon, we had an all day tour with Amico Tours to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We got to see the famed Mostar Bridge and Kravica Falls.
We had some guided tours with great guides who were full of information and history about the area, then had some time to free roam around the city as well. We had lunch with a great view of the bridge and went to the falls right after. It was just enough time to digest and take a dip in the falls. The water felt so good in the hot August sun.
Then we came back to Dubrovnik for a late, but still very lively dinner in old town.

The Walls of Dubrovnik (Croatian: Dubrovačke gradske zidine) are a series of defensive stone walls that have surrounded and protected the citizens of the afterward proclaimed maritime city-state of Dubrovnik (Ragusa), situated in southern Croatia, since the city's founding prior to the 7th century as a Byzantium castrum on a rocky island named Laus (Ragusia or Lave). With numerous additions and modifications throughout their history, they have been considered to be amongst the great fortification systems of the Middle Ages, as they were never breached by a hostile army during this time period. In 1979, the old city of Dubrovnik, which includes a substantial portion of the old walls of Dubrovnik, joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

The Walls of Dubrovnik are a series of defensive stone walls that have surrounded and protected the citizens of the afterward proclaimed maritime city-state of Dubrovnik (Ragusa), situated in southern Croatia, since the city's founding prior to the 7th century as a Byzantium castrum on a rocky island named Laus.
The oldest systems of fortifications around the town were likely wooden palisades.Today's intact city walls, constructed mainly during the 12th–17th centuries,mostly a double line, have long been a source of pride for Dubrovnik. The walls run an uninterrupted course of approximately 1,940 metres (6,360 ft) in length, encircling most of the old city, and reach a maximum height of about 25 metres (82 ft).

Kravice (or Kravica) Waterfalls is located near Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You can take a day trip from Dubrovnik -Croatia, Kotor - Montenegro, or Sarajevo.
