薰衣草森林 Lavender Cottage
在薰衣草森的林入口售票亭繳完150元入園費後，工作人員會發放100元的森林幣。你可以選捧用來折抵園區的消費，或者拿回家當作紀念幣保存。
適合全家大小一同走入的大自然仙境素有紫色國度之稱的薰衣草森林，是一個坐落在台灣的台中必去旅遊景點，能讓人遠離都市的塵囂，感受大自然的愜意寧靜。
Lavender Cottage is among the famous places of interest in Taiwan situated quite a distance from Taichung, took about an hour ride (one way) for us to reach the location. The place is very well maintained and make sure to prepare yourself a camera as every corner great for instagram.
After paying the entrance fee of NT150 at the entrance hall of the Lavender Forest, the staff will issue NT100 of forest coins. Each of the coin can be used to offset the spending in the park, or can be taken home as a commemorative coin.
It’s really quite serene and s peaceful place to visit, especially the time when Lavender blooms. The Cottage is fully equipped with creative signboards so that visitors won’t get lost easily.
There is a Wishing Tree on the top of the hill. To get there, you may walk around the terraces where pots of Lavender plants till the top of the hill and you can see a vantage point area with a bell over there. Great view at the Wishing Tree spot.
Make a wish and place the written wish on the tree. Enjoy the ambience when there.
Not far away, there is building with a restaurant cafe. Lavender ice cream and food are available. Didn’t quite try the food, but it’s a nice place for a cuppa.
Lots of souvenirs shops including one where you can mail postcards to friends and yourself at the ground floor of the building!
Make sure there’s ample time allocated while visiting this place as one will need it to enjoy and not to rush. So if you are nature lover, you have to be there as it’s a really cool relaxing place.

Went on a short tea plantation experience trip in Pinglin, New Taipei City. The scenery of Pinglin is great, the farmer was very friendly. We also visited Pinglin Old Street and Feicui Reservoir (Crocodile Island).

都市人、假日何處去？來到薰衣草森林、遠離都市塵囂，在蟲鳴鳥叫聲中、感受到愜意的放鬆、慢活其中。
十多年前、第一次造訪薰衣草森林，當時藥草精油等禮品、種類較少，如今的禮品、看起來相當精緻、相當好買，自用或送禮、十分合適。
尤其「純淨絲瓜皂的桂花香芬」，洗手保濕不乾澀、淡淡的桂花香氣、帶來夏日的沁涼，品質與質感都非常好、推薦值得入手！
回顧十多年前、也在薰衣草森林用餐，當時的烤春雞比較小隻、一人吃、剛剛好。如今的份量多些、兩位女生的食量、也剛剛好完食。值得推薦的是、點餐並未特別交代、不要加味精雞粉，餐點品嚐起來、竟然口感相當乾淨、「沒有味精雞粉」，濃湯也是新鮮食材熬製、非粉質調料包沖泡，讓人覺得很甘心，這樣的售價、有這樣高的ＣＰ值！！
由於餐廳圍繞大自然、當然是開窗才能感受、涼風徐徐，但也因為如此、在用餐過程有許多大自然的訪客（不知名昆蟲）、尋著香味、好奇地在餐食盤周邊打探，如果薰衣草森林的森林島嶼（禮品坊）、可以研發出驅蟲的香氛，估計用餐客人看到功效、會大大提升購買意願。

Located on a remote mountain in Taichung City, Lavender Cottage was built by two young women who decided to quit their jobs to pursue their dream of a hillside coffee shop surrounded by purple lavender farm. Surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys, you could send a postcard to someone special; head to the mountain top to make a wish; have some icecream at the coffee shop; or do some shopping at the market selling lavender products (such as soap, bath powder, teabags)! Simply put, there's just so much you can explore which is why the Lavender Cottage is my absolute favourite place for a cozy and relaxing afternoon!

Part I of the #台美了 vlogs series is finally out after a year of procrastinating [I'm so sorry ????] !!!
Visited Taiwan back in 2014 and fell in love with this country, so much so that I've got to come back again in 2016. This time, it was a family holiday trip and I was so stoked to bring my parents around. It was a good 10 days of sightseeing Taichung, Taipei and Hualien ♥ and I'm taking you guys along with me in this vlog!

I am really happy to have visited the Lavender Cottage in Taiwan. The purple cottages seems peaceful and rather cute to me. It has a beautiful view of the untouched environment and surrounding hillside.
Before we entered, we were showered with Lavender mist. So much so we were starting to smell like Lavender, we were also starting to get into the relax mood. My first thoughts of this place was that I could very much chill here and do my artworks.
There is a cafeteria at the top of the hill. It looks very homely and the workers here are wearing purple aprons. They compliment the theme of the whole place. Also there were a few customers with their dogs, some enjoying the environment together and some allowing their pets to roam freely.
