Arriving in the west of the river, I found the tabernacle of Joseph's first female pharaoh, Egyptian. Knocked the knight to sit next to him. He calls out Korea all the way to the curfew. The shallow cliffs, like the folding screen, are under the rugged mountains of the Joseph-suites. It is the statues of the Queen of Joseph. She ruled the Egyptians with a beard on the male. The Queen of Joseph Suit who wanted to be recognized as a true Pharaoh. I made a story about his birth in order to gain legitimacy. This is a two-month-old (mother) appearance of pregnancy in Joseph. The appearance of her mother, who is pregnant with the Queen of Joseph, remains vivid on the murals. From this side is the god La and the Josephus god Horus. She was the daughter of the divine light, La, and did not he try to equate the king himself with Horus? I think it's really the best opportunity to see the Temple of Versailles, where there are exciting rooms and a lot of history. Once on the shrine, you can see the Nile down the road. The Temple of Joseph, in harmony with the natural landscape, is magnificent but boasts of beauty.

17 mummies found in catacombs near Cairo
Egypt has announced the discovery of 17 mummies in catacombs in the desert, south of Cairo. It's the first time anything of archaeological interest has been unearthed in the Minya area. The non-royal mummies were discovered in a series of burial shafts. Archaeologists have also recovered a golden sheet, papyrus covered in ancient Egyptian script, and various sarco-phogi made of limestone and clay. Antiquities experts say the objects date back to the Late Period, which spanned almost 300 years up to Alexander the Great's conquest of Egypt in 3-hundred and 32-BC.

State of the Field 2016: Archaeology of Egypt – Third Session
September 24th, 2016
2:00 pm Third session – “Breaking methodological boundaries”: Introduction – Samantha Lash (Brown University)
2:10 pm Pearce Paul Creasman (University of Arizona) – Expanding Methodological Boundaries in Egyptian Archaeology by Land and by Sea (or River!)
As a result of the practice of ritually provisioning the dead for the afterlife and a climate favorable to preservation, ancient Egypt is today one of the most inspiring and alluring cultures in human history. Over the past two centuries, Egypt has been the subject of thousands of archaeological investigations that have added immensely to the collective understanding of its ancient culture and the world around it. While certain fundamental methodological advances in archaeology arose from these excavations (e.g., contextual seriation), archaeology in Egypt has yet to realize the full value of several other prominent and well-established modes of inquiry. This paper discusses the potential of two such disciplines and presents collaborative possibilities for moving forward with them: dendrochronology and maritime/underwater archaeology.
2:30 pm Willeke Wendrich (Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, UCLA) – Real Data, Virtual Reality: Theories of Visualization
Egyptology has developed in a direction that is increasingly multi-disciplinary. When studying coffin texts, it is no longer sufficient to compare different printed text versions. In addition, the provenance, location of the text on the coffin, name and titles of owner, decorative schema and the materials used, all provide information relevant to the interpretation and the understanding of the religious and social context. Similarly, archaeology deals with sets of information provided by different specialists in various formats ranging from notebooks, spreadsheets, databases, maps and photographs to geophysical data and results of chemical and DNA analysis. To integrate and combine the results of complex research data visualization is an important tool, provided that it is used in a well-theorized way.

3:10 pm Discussion
Amenhotep III
Amenhotep III also known as Amenhotep the Magnificent was the ninth pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty. According to different authors, he ruled Egypt from June 1386 to 1349 BC or June 1388 BC to December 1351 BC/1350 BC after his father Thutmose IV died. Amenhotep III was the son of Thutmose by a minor wife Mutemwiya.
His reign was a period of unprecedented prosperity and artistic splendour, when Egypt reached the peak of its artistic and international power. When he died in the 38th or 39th year of his reign, his son initially ruled as Amenhotep IV, but then changed his own royal name to Akhenaten.

The Spell of Egypt by Robert Smythe Hichens Video / Audiobook
Why do you come to Egypt? Do you come to gain a dream, or to regain lost dreams of old; to gild your life with the drowsy gold of romance, to lose a creeping sorrow, to forget that too many of your hours are sullen, grey, bereft? What do you wish of Egypt?

Archaeologists have found burial chambers with dozens of mummies in Egypt
Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered in the province of Minya an ancient burial chamber with four dozen mummies. According to the initial examination, it should be the remains of family members from the Ptolemaic Dynasties or the beginning of the Roman or possibly Byzantine Empire.
Mummies are in good shape and at least ten of them belong to children. In the rooms scientists also discovered papyrus scrolls and ceramic objects.
The first discovery of this year on Saturday was ceremonially announced by the Egyptian Minister for Relics Khalid Anani. The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Tourism Ranja Mashatova and ambassadors or cultural attaches from 11 countries
