#3 In Legian particularly you will see/hear so much Australia rather than Bali or Indonesia
I think especially for first timers, Legian is the perfect place to stay so you don''t get too much culture shock. You will feel more at home and in your comfort zone more.
Almost all restaurants, souvenir places or bars are catered to Aussies. You will see Australian flags everywhere, Aussie slang used (on signs and locals speaking it), the menus at restaurants are catered to the Western palate. You can even watch AFL and NRL games as many bars play them all the time.
#4 Expect the expected
You have heard about Bali, seen photos and videos and yes, those places also exist.... night clubs, bars and night life in Kuta, beach bars in Seminyak, pool bars and parts in Seminyak and Legian. As well as plenty of beaches to watch sunsets, swim, sunbathe or go swimming or surfing

Legian is a suburban and beach area on the west coast of Bali in Indonesia, just north of Kuta and south of Seminyak the area between Jl. Melasti and Jl. Dhyana Pura. Administratively it is a subdistrict of Kuta District of Badung Regency.
Legian Road or Jalan Legian is the main street that runs north-south from Kuta to Seminyak on the island of Bali in Indonesia. Legian Road contains a variety of shops, bars, hotels and dance clubs. Its proximity to the beach and its prominent night life make it host to thousands of tourists. Legian is well known for shopping and partying, with many areas offering traditional market shopping where shop owners are amenable to haggling and usually give shoppers an initial inflated price. Legian is one of the cheaper locations after dark and the road will begin to get busy at 11pm, peaking in traffic around 1 or 2 in the morning before easing down again around 4:30am. With such a cluster of hotels, shops and bars around Legian, the street can experience intense amounts of traffic. It can take up to 10 or 15 minutes to move forward 1 mile during some rush hours.

Jalan Legian Kuta Bali, saya yakin bagi yang pernah wisata di Bali, pasti pernah berkunjung ke tempat wisata favorit di Bali ini. Jalan Legian adalah jalan utama yang menghubungkan antara tempat wisata Kuta dengan Seminyak.
Di sepanjang pinggir jalan , banyak terdapat toko-toko yang menjual kerajinan khas Bali yang biasanya di beli wisatawan asing maupun domestic sebagai oleh-oleh khas Bali. Selain toko-toko yang menjual kerajinan khas Bali, jalan Legian lebih terkenal akan kehidupan malam, karena di sepanjang jalan ini, banyak terdapat bar, cafe, restoran maupun diskotik.
Letak jalan ini sangatlah strategis, karena dekat dengan pantai Kuta serta menghubungkan tempat wisata Seminyak. Selain itu setiap malam jalan ini tidak pernah sepi dengan kunjungan wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara terutama di malam hari. Jika anda seorang yang gemar dugem atau clubbing, maka jalan ini adalah tempat yang harus anda kunjungi selama liburan di Bali. Night club yang ada seperti MBargo Club, Sky Garden, Vi Ai Pi.
Jalan Legian Kuta sangat sering salah pengertian dengan tempat wisata Legian, padahal kedua tempat wisata di Bali ini adalah dua tempat yang berbeda. Lalu kenapa disebut dengan nama jalan Legian, hal ini dikarenakan jalan ini adalah penghubung utama tempat wisata Kuta, dengan tempat wisata Legian. Jadi jalan ini bukanlah wilayah dari tempat wisata Legian.
