Locations :
- Sidi Ifni is a city located in southwest Morocco, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It has a population of approximately 20,000 people. The economic base of the city is fishing. It is located in Guelmim-Oued Noun region and Sidi Ifni Province.

- Lagzira is a Moroccan wild beach, located in the rural town of Tioughza, between the towns of Tiznit and Sidi Ifni, about 150 km south of Agadir, and 10 km north of Sidi ifni. Its landscape and its waves are appreciated by hikers and surfers.

Legzira beach, Morocco. Sidi Ifni beach and surfing

Legzira beach near Sidi Ifni is a little city located in southwest Morocco, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. At the heart of what was the Spanish Sahara, Ifni was once a base for slave-trading operations and later a large exporter of fish to the Spanish mainland. The place is full of visiting surfers, seeking out excellent Atlantic waves on nearby beaches.

Legzira is one of the most beautiful beaches in Morocco. The site is still special with a rock island beyond the waves and photogenic arches standing farther down the beach. One of the iconic earth and stone arches fell down in 2016 and the remaining ones are unstable. The cliffs were formed over thousands of years by erosion. Locals say there were 5 in total, including the collapsed one.

Lagzira, Legzira, ou Gzira, est une plage sauvage marocaine, située dans la commune rurale de Tioughza, entre les villes de Tiznit et Sidi Ifni, à environ 150 km au sud d'Agadir, et à 10 km au nord de Sidi ifni. Son paysage et ses vagues sont appréciés par les randonneurs et les surfeurs.

En mars 2014, le magazine La Nouvelle Tribune l'a classée parmi les douze plus belles plages du pays.

Une des arches emblématiques de la plage s’effondre le 23 .septembre 2016, probablement à cause de l’érosion naturelle

لا شك أن المتوجه لإقليم سيدي إفني، سيكتشف أن منطقة آيت باعمران غنية بمناظرها الخلابة وشواطئها الساحرة، فالمنطقة تزخر بأماكن سياحية تحتاج إلى مزيد من العناية
والاهتمام في سبيل جلب السياح المغاربة والأجانب، وبغية الوصول بها إلى مصاف المناطق التي تبهر الناظرين وتشد الزائرين، فشاطئ «الكّزيرة» الذي لا يبعد عن مركز سيدي إفني إلا بعشرة كيلومترات، وعن مدينة تيزنيت ب65 كيلومترا فقط، يتواجد في منطقة استراتيجية تنتمي إلى جماعة تيوغزة القروية معقل النضال البعمراني، ويتميز بمزجه بين الطبيعة الشاطئية والجبلية، وباستقباله على مدار السنة لجنسيات مختلفة من السياح الراغبين في التمتع بصفاء الطبيعة ونقائها، والباحثين عن المناظر الجبلية البديعة، التي تستهوي النظر وتأسر الفؤاد.
«الكّزيرة» وراء الحدود
إذا كانت شهرة «الكّزيرة» قد تجاوزت حدود المغرب الجغرافية، فإن الفضل في ذلك يرجع إلى الجزيرة المطلة على المكان، والتي حملت المنطقة اسمها منذ القديم، كما يرجع الفضل إلى المنحوتات الصخرية الطبيعية التي ملأت الفضاء برونقها الأخاذ، وإلى أبناء المنطقة من المهاجرين الذين فضلوا استثمار أموالهم في إنشاء بنية فندقية محاذية للشاطئ، تراعي طبيعة المنطقة الجبلية وتسمح للزائر بالولوج السلس إلى عالم ساحر وهادئ، يعرض مفاتنه أمام الملأ، ويهدي بكل خيلاء منظر الغروب المنساب على قمة «الكّزيرة» وسط الأطلسي، لكافة الراغبين في الاستمتاع بشاطئ يملك أفضل مقومات السياحة النظيفة، ويسبر أغوار الإنسان الحالم بالوصول إلى عوالم خفية تساعده على إعادة إيقاعات الحياة إلى مجراها الطبيعي، وتمكنه من وضع بوصلتها على السكة الصحيحة.

????‍♀️????‍♂️ The journey to Legzira beach ????‍♀️????‍♂️

The Bahia City Hotel advised us about the tours that are available. A tour agent will come and visit us at our hotel show us lovely pictures and prices of things to do and places to go from Agadir, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni, Marrakech and many other places in Morocco. A mini bus with approximatley 16 seats and a good driver that knows it all.

The driver would go around different hotels in Agadir and pick up other holidaymakers from their hotel. The journey from Agadir would take 3 hours and 30 mins to Legzira beach.

The Pottery, ceramics workshop ????????

However along the way the driver would stop at a pottery workshop. This perfect place for a ceramics enthusiast is located just 30km about 40 mins drive south of Agadir. In a small and quaint village called Sidi-Bibi you will find a very impressive pottery market complete with its own workshop.

People from all nations are gathered around to get a view of the craftsmanship at work. From the minute you walk in you will be immediately astounded by the vast collection of merchandise. Immerse yourself in the enchanted atmosphere and let the endless shelves and aisles lead you.

Every inch of the shop is covered with beautifully crafted ceramics. Starting from charming little jewelry boxes,to jugs and plates, and enormous vases that can reach over a meter high there truly is something for everyone here. There are toilet facilities and refreshments available for visitors wanting to put their feet up until the driver begins the journey to his next stop the town or village of Tiznit.

Tiznit is a town in southern Morocco and the capital of the province of Tiznit in the Souss-Massa-Draa region. The region of Tiznit presents itself as the meeting place of the sea and the desert with its Argan trees, olive trees and palm trees.

The driver makes way for our final stop from Tiznit to spend an hour or two at the legzira beach. The mini bus is parked in the residence place at the top of the cliff. This beach is really great, the archway is a very special geological feature. Great waves, sandy shore, rocks, the beautiful camels rides, the quadebikes, the Paragliders land on the beach all the time making it great for watching. If you choose to eat at one of the cafes the menu consists of grilled fish, variety of Vegetables dishes, chicken pieces, the food is amazing and the prices very reasonable.

Enjoy the walk on this 8km of sandy coast windy, rocky and expansive. Spectacular! When we arrived the first thing saw was the people everywhere you look. Full of people on the beach, people climbing up the stairs to get back up to the top of the cliff but the ones that are making their way down to the beach it's a force of nature! The untamed atlantic waves are powerful and impressive. When the tide is coming in the currents are very strong. There are plenty of lifeguards blowing whistles as the sea rages.

The arch you will never forget. But go beyond the arch. The arch is at the other end of the beach. Definetly one of .most beautiful places in Morocco. By the ocean you can really feel its power that made this stone monument. The Beauty of nature and power of Ocean are both in this magical place. You can see the power of natural elements wind, water and earth that created great rock arches. It was lovely and relaxing 2 hours walk with children playing with the waves. This is a great walking beach, long, and beautiful.

As we head back to Agadir, the vibrant city with stunning beaches, lively markets, and lots of activites to fill the days. All along the beach there will be men offering jet ski rides, Camel rides. You also have the option of renting lawn chairs and umbrellas which I would highly reccomend doing as the sun can get pretty hot around August 2019 in Agadir beach.

Majestueuses arches rocheuses de Legzira قوس لگزيرة الرائع قبل انهياره!

Elle figure sur tous les dépliants touristiques du Maroc: une des majestueuses arches rocheuses de Legzira, qui plongeait dans la mer sur la côte sud du pays, s'est effondrée.

L'arche qui s'était formée dans la falaise ocre de cette plage de l'Atlantique très prisée des touristes et des surfeurs s'est écroulée vendredi en fin d'après-midi, a précisé cette source sur place.

Legzira est située dans le sud du Maroc, près de la localité de Sidi Ifni, au sud d'Agadir.
