ROAD TRIP IN ITALY! (Rome to Amalfi Coast)
Went on a roadtrip from Rome to Amalfi Coast, Italy few weeks ago with my friends and I did not expect the roads to be as crazy! Took a train from Rome to Naples and rented out two SUV's for 500 Euros each for 6 days so that we can drive around Amalfi coast and you'll find out how to get to areas like Pompeii, Ravello, Sorrento and Positano. Traveling around Italy can be expensive but I highly suggest for you to buy your food in grocery stores to save a lot of money. I really travel on a budget but there are times that I really have no choice but to spend on transportation, accommodation and food. I also got a lot of questions on how to drive in Europe; all you need is your driver's license and passport at all times when driving and you're only allowed to drive for 3 months. If you wish to drive for 1 year in Europe, you can apply for an International drivers license in your country before leaving.

Mediterranean Cruise - Day 5 ~ Naples, Italy excursion (Amalfi Coast scenic drive) ~ July, 2015
“Naples, Italy ~ Sorrento and Amalfi by Land & Sea.” This is a 9-hour Norwegian Cruise Line shore excursion experiencing Italy's most famous coastline by scenic bus, walking, and boat guided tours, with leisure time exploring the beautiful villages of Sorrento and Amalfi. It's impossible to capture the beauty of the Amalfi Coast in words or photos. And it definitely is extremely difficult to provide a brief overview from an all-day trip of breath-taking views into a shorter video! Hopefully some of the footage included will portray the true experience of this awesome adventure.
Italy's Amalfi Coast
Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | In this program, we explore Sorrento's back streets, taste traditional Italian food, drive along the dramatic Amalfi Coast to catch some breathtaking scenery, learn the history behind the tourist shops of Amalfi, stroll in the shadow of Greek temples at Paestum, and sail to the Isle of Capri to enter the fabled Blue Grotto.

Pompeii & Enchanting Sorrento - NCL Norwegian Spirit - Naples, Italy
This is Day 10 of our summer cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) Norwegian Spirit Eastern Mediterranean Cruise departing from Rome (Civitavecchia) Italy.
Today we are in Naples, Italy. We took a leisure drive along the Bay of Naples and visited the city of Sorrento and its amazing marketplace and boutiques. We also went to a nice woodworking studio with intricate wood works and had delicious pizza while street watching. Then we traveled to Pompeii, the Roman town known for the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. We saw the excavations of buildings and villas in the city including ancient baths, temples, & residences with mosaic floors. Then we had a delicious dinner on the boat and enjoyed the sunset.

The BEST Amalfi Coast Driving Tour! 4K UHD
Enjoy a 4K UHD tour along Italy's most beautiful coastline, The Amalfi Coast (Italian: Costiera Amalfitana) in this episode of Prowalk Tours. The Amalfi Drive, formerly known as the SS 163, is considered to be the most scenic stretch of coastline in Europe and one of the best coastal drives in the world. Unfortunately, when you are stuck in a car or in a bus, it is not possible to get a good view. In this scooter video, you will get the best possible view for the entire 80 km (50 miles). This video was filmed on September 7th, 2019. I started the day by renting a scooter at Jollyrents in Sorrento (link below). I mounted two cameras, the DJI Osmo Pocket and the Insta360 One X. The Osmo pocket video was filmed in 4K at 60fps. At minute 1:17:59, the Osmo Pocket camera battery died so the remaining part of the video is from the Insta360 One X camera. To see the 360 version of this drive, click on the following link: Let's go for a drive!

Our visit Naples travel guide documentary covers some of the top attractions including a food guide to Neapolitan cuisine, top sightseeing tourist attractions and the city by day including visiting cathedrals, pizzerias, the old town, quirky neighborhoods and museums. We also cover off-the-beaten-path outdoor activities you won't find in a typical Naples tourism brochure, Naples itinerary or Naples, Italy city tour also known as Napoli Italia.
10 Things to do in Naples, Italy Travel Guide Video Transcript: (NAPOLI)
Tell anyone you’re travelling to Naples and you’ll likely get a few raised eyebrows with some side comments about the mafia, or grid-lock traffic, or garbage on the streets. Somewhere along the way, Naples seems to have earned a bad reputation, but we thought it all sounded a bit too harsh. We wanted to experience the city for ourselves, plus we’d also heard there was good pizza!
We ended up having a grand ol’ time, so join on us as we show you what you can get up to with a couple of days in Naples, plus somewhere along the way, we’ll also reveal where we ate our favourite pizza.
Piazza del Plebiscito seemed like a good place to start our tour. This is a large public square in Central Naples, that earned its name from the 1860 vote that brought Naples into the unified Kingdom of Italy.
The plaza is surrounded by numerous attractions, including the Royal Palace of Naples on one side, and the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola.
We then visited the Royal Palace of Naples. This was one of the four residences in Naples used by the Bourbon Kings during their rule of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
The admission fee was 4 Euros and this gave us access to the Royal Apartments where we got to admire porcelains, tapestries, sculptures and painted ceilings found within the palace walls.
We visited was Castel Nuovo, an imposing medieval castle that dates back to 1282. This castle was built when Charles I of Naples took the throne and moved his capital from Palermo to Naples.
Admission to the castle was 6 Euros per person.
We stopped by Caffe Gambrinus, a historic coffeehouse in the heart Naples for a bite and drink.
We visited Galleria Umberto I, which is a gallery which vaulted iron and glass ceilings, where you can shop & people watch.
This gallery dates back to the late 1880s and meant to be reminiscent of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
While in Naples, we took it upon ourselves to find the best pizza in the city. This involved eating a total of 10 pizzas over two days.
In the end we decided Da Michele was our personal favourite.
Because we always enjoy visiting outdoor markets wherever we go, we stopped by the Fish Market.
Moving on to museums we visited Naples National Archaeological Museum. This museum holds the Farnese Marbles, which is an impressive collection of Roman copies of classical Greek sculptures and ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Another place we visited in Naples was the Quartieri Spagnoli, or Spanish Quarter. The streets in this quarter were laid down during the 16th century for the Spanish military barracks outside the city walls. The streets here are narrow and the buildings tall.
And that’s a wrap for our quick 2-day tour of Naples. We hope this video gave you a few ideas of things you can do in the city and all the pizza you can eat in between.
This is part of our Travel in Italy video series showcasing Italian food, Italian culture and Italian cuisine.

Burano, Italy | The World in 4K | Travel + Leisure
It’s easy to spot the Venetian Island of Burano from the sea. The jewel-colored homes act like a beacon, which is what they were intended to be. According to , local fisherman started painting their homes in bright colors—hues of orange, red, yellow, and purple—so they could see them while out fishing in the fog and could follow their colors back home. Now, the practice has become law, and if you live on the island and want to paint your home, you must ask for permission from the government, who will assign your home a color. For visitors, the homes are just a welcome dose of cheerfulness.

Florence, Italy | The World in 4K | Travel + Leisure
There’s one overwhelming reason travelers flock to this tiny Italian city (pop. 365,000) amid Tuscany’s rolling green hills: Florence has more than one million works of Renaissance art—among them Michelangelo’s David and Botticelli’s Birth of Venus.
It’s also the birthplace of global fashion brands like Gucci, Pucci, and Roberto Cavalli, and the city’s most influential fashion clan—the Ferragamos—have turned their renowned sense of style to four hip hotels across town, breathing new life into the previously staid lodging scene. Add to that succulent Florentine steaks, some of the world’s greatest wines, the traditional artisan workshops of the Oltrarno, and Brunelleschi’s famous masterpiece dome, and it’s not so hard to see how Firenze remains as popular as top European cities five times its size.
Florence, the center of the Italian Renaissance, is a city filled with towering cathedrals and exquisite art (think Botticelli, Michelangelo, da Vinci, and more). From here, you have access to the Tuscan countryside, where you can pair delicious seasonal fare with standout Chianti wines. Partake in the Duomo-capped city's many restaurants, shops, bars, and things to do using our Florence travel guide.
