Pinecrest is an unincorporated community in Tuolumne County, California, United States. Pinecrest is located near Pinecrest Lake northwest of Mi-Wuk Village. Pinecrest Lake sits in what was once a meadow surrounded by granite outcroppings.

Cruising down the top section of Crabtree in Pinecrest, CA near Dodge Ridge. Highly recommend this trail especially since you can shuttle it.

Helicopter Operations at Leland Snowplay
A few days ago, Leland Snowplay gladly entered into an agreement with the Central Coast Incident Management Team, to use Leland as a Retardant Mix Site of Helicopter Operations. Currently there are pallets of retardant powder in our parking lot. A huge tank is set up in the snow park itself. Using the water supply from our reservoir, crews mix the powder with water in the tank, from which the helicopters can fill up with retardant. Leland Meadows is in a great position for the helicopters to quickly return to the fire and help protect structures, and slow the fire. We are thrilled to have these crews working in our front yard!
