Diving Pentanissos caves | Lindos, Rhodes, Greece | Lepia Dive
Diving is one of the best activities to do if you visit Lindos in Rhodes, Greece, and Lepia Dive Centre in Pefkos is a great place to start - our thanks to them for taking us on this great dive.
This dramatic dive around Pantinissos Islet (in 'Navarone Bay' where they filmed the famous cliff-scaling sequence in The Guns of Navarone) takes you to a depth of about 20 metres, On this dive you visit a complex of caverns on a sharp wall right on the edge of Lindos basin (the second deepest spot of the Mediterranean sea) and you can fly in the colder current of the clear deep blue of the Aegean sea. Highly recommended!

SCUBA DIVE IN RHODES ISLAND - GREECE 11/11
One of the most amazing shipwrecks of the Mediterranean is located in Plimmiri an area at the South part of the island of Rhodes - Greece. It's a cargo ship 110m long, named Giannoula K. . It was shank in January 1981 by an accident. It is in a maximum depth of 24 m. but the mast of the ship is right on the sea surface, making it easy to visit for all levels of qualified divers.
What is truly amazing besides the fact that all the artifacts of the ship shank with it, is the visibility that usually reaches the 25m!
