The falls of Li Phi, waterfalls by tens
The falls of Li Phi on the island of Don Khon are one of the places to see in the south of Laos.
It is the most beautiful and impressive rapids of the Mekong River. The cascades are counted in tens, and their flow or the level of the water depends of course on the period to which they are visited
The entrance to the site is 35 000 kips per person and it is open from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is quite large, actually a path along the Mekong and offers several view points on the dozens of waterfalls that s' All along, the road is bordered by a wooden barrier to prevent the falls, but it is possible to go down in some places down to bathe in the Mekong, after all the waterfalls. Fact and it is rather prohibited and very risky, because the current is very strong.
At the end of the route, there is a bar with huts and hammocks to settle down. Also there is a beach overlooking the Mekong where you can swim, except that the water here is not Not very attractive (disgusting green with lots of moss)
