Spiaggia Li Piscini near Palau, Olbia province Sardinia. Our favourite Beach from this region. There is a paid parking place near by. Once you park your car, you will have to walk 2-3 minutes to get to this exact location. Bring food, beverages, snacks and an umbrella as you wont find any of them at the spot.

Si tratta di tre spiagge a circa 5 km da Cannigioni. A pochi metri dalla strada principale si trova il parcheggio (1,5 € l'ora). Da qui, con un breve cammino, si raggiunge la spiaggia centrale. Le spiagge sono belle, ma nella media delle spiagge della Sardegna.

Places to see in ( Arzachena - Italy )
Arzachena is a town and comune in the province of Sassari, northern Sardinia, the second largest island off the coast of Italy. Arzachena lies half way between the original Costa Smeralda resort and Porto Rafael, both founded in the late 1950s. After Olbia and Tempio Pausania, it is the third largest commune in Gallura by inhabitants.

The frazione of Porto Cervo is the main resort area of Costa Smeralda for summer tourism, which has replaced agriculture as the local main economical source starting from the 1960s. Nearby there are numerous archaeological sites from the Nuragic period, including those from a local sub-culture known as Arzachena culture (necropolis of Li Muri and others).
Located in an area once inhabited by the Arzachena culture, the town has obscure origins. The region was known by the Romans as Turibulum, after a mushroom-shaped rock which is today the symbol of the town. The oldest mention is from a 1421 document, when king Alfonso IV of Aragon gave it (under the name of Arsaghene) as a fief to one Ramboldo de Cobaria. In the late 16th century it was mostly depopulated, and the current town was re-established in 1716 on a hill by King Charles Emmanuel III of Savoy; in 1909 the new village counted 853 inhabitants, which grew substantially after the touristic boom of Costa Smeralda, which originally designed a small stretch of coast in the commune of Arzachena.

Bellissimo angolo della Sardegna. Il mare è semplicemente stupendo con colori blu e turchesi, la zona è tranquilla anche perché il fondale basso impedisce alle grosse imbarcazioni di avvicinarsi troppo. Niente spiagge, solo enormi massi. Fare molta attenti a non scivolare tra le rocce. Non adatto a famiglie con bambini piccoli. Solo giovani che si adattano a situazioni un po' scomode. Acqua cristallina con fondali ricchi di vita, presenti colonie di stelle marine.

La spiaggia delle Piscine è caratterizzata da calette rocciose e piccolissime spiagge incastonate. La spiaggia è bianca e finissima e la vegetazione intorno è ricca e rigogliosa. La presenza di piccole insenature, un acqua cristallina e una macchia mediterranea che giunge quasi a mare, fa di questo luogo uno degli angoli più suggestivi della costa.
Come arrivare
Partendo da Palau è necessario prendere la strada che va in direzione Punta Sardegna. Arrivati alla fortezza di Monte Altura, si prende la direzione per Costa Serena (sinistra). La spiaggia delle piscine si trova a meno di un kilometro dalla spiaggia di Costa Serena.
Informazioni
All'ingresso della spiaggia è presente un piccolo parcheggio sterrato. La spiaggia è poco frequentata e particolarmente indicata per attività subaque, in un tratto di costa limpido e cristallino ideale per immargersi in acque ricche di flora e fauna marina.
