Liffey Falls Tasmania - Flying around the amazing water falls in the middle of Tasmania, Australia
Video around the Liffey Falls - in the middle of Tasmania. Video taken by a GoPro and Contour Camera mounted to a Gaui500x quadcopter flown by Mark Butcher.
Still using a fixed camera set up - the video quality is ok - but when funds allow - I will upgrade to a bigger/better set up with a gyro stabilised camera platform!
This is all taken for hobby purposes however in time we hope to become a commercial operator so stay tuned.

Located near Deloraine and a definite must if you are visiting the area
Liffey Falls, Tasmania.
The Liffey Falls are situated upstream of the town of Liffey, in Meander Valley, accessible from Deloraine via the Lake Highway. The falls commence from the Great Western Tiers at an elevation of 514 metres above sea level and descend in the range of 120–160 metres Each of the tiered cascades is named in order from upstream to downstream; Alexandra Falls, Hopetoun Falls, The Leap or Spout Falls (also called the Albert Falls), and Victoria Falls.
Walking tracks lead to the falls from both upstream and downstream. - Wikipedia

Woof and Robert visit Liffey and walk to Liffey Falls
woof goes to Liffey falls in Tasmania. Lifey falls are in the western tiers south of Deloraine in Tasmania. Woof tries to not get wet, but because the track goes through dense rainforest and it had rained he chickes out and sends Robert up to do the work. Later on Robert calls Woof on his attempt to give the impression he went up as well.

MEANDER FALLS TASMANIA
I went for a 6 hour return walk up to Meander Falls. Not many people go up here due to the main bridges across the rivers have collapsed (currently building new ones) making it only accessible by higher clearance vehicles.

Highway 1 Australia's greatest road trip: Ep 15 Spirit of Tasmania
Embarking on a trip to Tassie always feels for me like I'm running away and escaping into the wild.
The excitement begins as soon as I'm aboard the Spirit of Tasmania, watching Melbourne disappear and staring out over the ship's wake under a moonlit sky somewhere in the middle of Bass Strait.
Once we hit Devonport, I hardly know which direction to head first - into the wild west, up onto the Central Plateau to peaks and great lakes, or for the east's shimmering blue bays and white sandy beaches.
In the last 20 years, most of my really memorable bushwalks have been tackled in Tassie, and I've ended so many days on the trail at incredible bush camps - sometimes exhausted, usually muddy, but always happy.
After time spent in the wilderness, relaxing in Tassie's historic towns, indulging in great food and lazing about on awesome beaches provides the perfect balance to any holiday.
Suffice to say, I adore spending time in Tasmania, whether over the sunny summer, or during an icy winter when snow coats the landscape and ours are the only footprints on a trail.
On this trip, Highway One led us to some new discoveries: the historic town of Oatlands, a great bushwalking and camping spot at Liffey River Reserve and a favourite lookout on the flanks of Mount Blackwood in the Great Western Tiers. Explode - Element
Explode by Element.
Recorded in 2012, at Deloraine High School. We are a grade 9/10 band from Deloraine High School.
We got together early in grade 7, quickly learning simple covers so that we could play at gigs around our school. When we started to create our own originals we started to rise up the ranks, winning two Battle of the Bands in a row and entering the Tasmanian Rock Challenge in both 2011/2012. We now have originals recorded, Annie as our new singer (Not in this original, only came through in 2013), our songs being played on radios and we have been interviewed for different Newspapers.
