Greg Sestero Q&A for Best F(r)iends - Lighthouse Cinema (Dublin Ireland)
Hey film fans! Today I was lucky enough to get tickets to a screening of Best F(r)iends at the lighthouse cinema in Dublin City Ireland. The screening also included a documentary on the making of the room/the writing of the disaster artist. The main event however was a Q&A with the writer and director of Best F(r)iends, Greg Sestero. Greg Sestero starred in the 2003 film The Room. Best F(r)iends stars Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau and is their first collaboration since working on The Room. During the Q&A audience members reenacted scenes from the original script for The Room. They gave terrific performances and were very brave to get on stage. Best F(r)iends genuinely surprised me, I was expecting a fun time but nothing more. The movie was actually nicely shot, hilarious and the characters were well developed. Towards the end the film gets very surreal. I think Greg Sestero succeeded in making a good movie. I was lucky enough to meet Greg Sestero and get an autograph, he seems like a very nice guy.

DOCUMENTARY: The Making of 'To The Wonder' [Part 1/3] - Directed by Terrence Malick
Terrence Malick's ''To the Wonder' with Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko and Javier Bardem opening in Light House Cinema in Smithfield, Dublin on February 22nd 2013.
A look behind the scenes of Terrence Malick's bold and beautiful film 'To The Wonder', featuring interviews with Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko and Javier Bardem. [Part 1/3]
TO THE WONDER is the beautiful and acclaimed latest offering from Terrence Malick, the legendary director of THE TREE OF LIFE, BADLANDS and DAYS OF HEAVEN. The film is centred on Neil (Ben Affleck ARGO), a man who is torn between two loves: Marina (Olga Kurylenko QUANTUM OF SOLACE), the European woman who comes to United States to be with him, and Jane (Rachel McAdams MIDNIGHT IN PARIS), the old flame he reconnects with from his hometown. Neil's doubts about his life and loves are reflected in the crisis of faith experienced by Father Quintana (Javier Bardem SKYFALL), who only sees pain and the loss of hope in the world. In TO THE WONDER, Malick explores how love and its many phases and seasons -- passion, sympathy, obligation, sorrow, indecision -- can transform, destroy, and reinvent lives.

SUMMARY
=======
The Light House Cinema is an art cinema with 614 seats across four screens in Dublin, Ireland, which also serves as one of the venues for the Dublin International Film Festival.
From 1988–1996, the original Light House Cinema was located in an art-deco venue on Middle Abbey Street. A new government-funded cinema was built and opened in Smithfield, Dublin in 2008. It briefly closed in 2011 following the Dublin property crash, but the property was taken over National Asset Management Agency (NAMA).
In 2012, the cinema was taken over by Element Pictures and reopened. It has since become successful and popular with locals, thanks to its more eclectic mix of films including art-house and Hollywood blockbusters, as well as regular classic screenings.
The cinema also hosts quiz nights, book clubs, specially-hosted cult film screenings, and a cinema music festival called 'One Two One Two Music Festival'.Screen 1 holds an audience of 277; Screen 2 holds 153; Screen 3 holds 116; and Screen 4 holds 68.
