HOUSEBOUND Official Trailer
In Cinemas in New Zealand Thursday 4 Sept 2014
Kylie Bucknell is forced to return to the house she grew up in when the court places her on home detention. Her punishment is made all the more unbearable by the fact she has to live there with her mother Miriam -- a well-intentioned blabbermouth who's convinced that the house is haunted. Kylie dismisses Miriam's superstitions as nothing more than a distraction from a life occupied by boiled vegetables & small-town gossip. However, when she too becomes privy to unsettling whispers & strange bumps in the night, she begins to wonder whether she's inherited her overactive imagination, or if the house is in fact possessed by a hostile spirit who's less than happy about the new living arrangement.

First Contact 2012- NZIAF Trailer
As part of the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival, Michel Tuffery's First Contact 2012 will light up the capital from 24 Feb - 18 March 2012.
The Festival begins in truly breathtaking style as one of Wellington's most iconic buildings is transformed into a living, moving canvas by acclaimed New Zealand artist Michel Tuffery.
'Larger than life' doesn't quite do this work justice. The beauty and history of the South Pacific come to Wellington in a big way with First Contact -- a giant digital artwork projected upon the western wall of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
By bringing the 'inside out' from Te Papa's extensive collections, Tuffery breathes new life into historical material recorded by the Polynesian ambassador Tupaia, and the scientists and artists from Captain James Cook's three epic voyages -- linking them with his own distinctive works and 21st century visual and sound bites.
Innovative and utterly transfixing, First Contact will light up Te Papa every evening during the Festival. If you can't make the live cultural celebrations on opening night or want to experience First Contact in all its glory again, go to festival.co.nz or head along to the First Contact hub outside Te Papa, where you can download a free recording of the live soundtrack.
Tickets for the 2012 NZIAF are now on sale at festival.co.nz or at TICKETEK.

UFO Sighting In New Zealand Christmas Night
I was watching TV in my lounge when I spotted this bright red light flying towards our house. I ran to get my camera and recorded it as best I could in my backyard as it flew over. All I know is that it was definitely not a plane or helicopter. As you can tell from the sound of my voice and the language, I was quite scared, lol.
Arriving at 'The Lodge Pauatahanui Inlet' in a helicopter
The newly weds wanted to arrive at The Lodge Pauatahanui Inlet in style... I happy obliged to coming along for the ride!

Castlepoint, New Zealand
Castlepoint is a small beachside town on the Wairarapa coast of the Wellington Region of New Zealand. It is home to a lighthouse which stands near the top of the northern end of a reef. The reef is about one kilometer long. At the southern end of the reef, there is an island known locally as bird island, due to its large population of seagulls. The southern side of Castle Rock is known as Christmas Bay. Castlepoint is approximately one hour's drive from Masterton. The population of Castlepoint and its surrounds was 1,686 as recorded in the national Census of 2006.
UFO sighting disclosure 2010 New Zealand
A Christchurch family believe they saw a convoy of UFOs travelling above their house -- and say they've got the pictures to prove it.
It comes a day after secret documents of UFO sightings were released by the New Zealand Defence Force.
Caught on video is what is thought to be one of 10 UFOs travelling in a convoy above the streets of Christchurch.
Jeannine Mander spotted the series of lights moving in the sky above her house last Wednesday, at 10pm.
Bright, bright orange lights, with a flicker in them, she explains.
She wasn't the only one to see the UFO, with neighbours and family watching on the deck.
I believe there is something out there. We are here, so there is something out there. We can't be the only living form, says Ms Mander.
The NZDF released over 2000 secret documents on UFO sightings over the last 70 years.
Ms Mander says what she saw was very similar to that which was recorded in Kaikoura in 1978.

Reverse Fatbike run to Pencarrow Lighthouse in 4K
I decided to edit this in reverse just for a different perspective on the ride. Made for an interesting video IMHO. I hope you enjoy it!
Although I have done the run to the lower lighthouse at Pencarrow on several occasions, I have never ridden to the upper Lighthouse before because of the hill climbs to the top. However this was my first time back to Pencarrow since having the conversion kit installed so it made sense to visit; especially given how great the weather was today!
It's 7km (~5mi) to the lower lighthouse and probably just as long from there to the top. Following the coastline around from the lower lighthouse, you eventually arrive at the gate to the service road which leads up top. It was mostly mud on the day I rode up with the storms creating mud slides and throwing debris everywhere. You see that they bought a digger in to clear the road which leads to farm houses further around the bays.
On the way back, I decided to take the side track down to the coast road which leads back to Eastbourne. All in all, a great day but I was really needing some food! Fortunately for me, there are plenty of eating establishments near by where the hardest choice will be what drink to have with my burger and fries. Hope you enjoy this!
MY RECOMMENDATIONS
???? Walking - Yes but fairly long walk factor 2-3 hours
???? Biking - Yes; path up is a 4WD track but steep in parts
???? Baby Buggies - For lower lighthouse, yes. For upper lighthouse, some steep parts, would not recommend
????Pets - Yes; Several Dog Walkers on the trail
