First of all thank you for watching this video, 2nd shoutout to our 5 subs, you guys rock!!!

In this episode; We finally managed to find the lighthouse after riding the bikes all over the place and for the record, we weren't disappointed with the view. no fancy cliffs or anything just a beautiful island with beautiful people (seriously everyone is so friendly).

On another note, It's very well known that The Philippines has a severe pollution problem. You'll see trash everywhere on the island (I mean everywhere) and the saddest part is to see all the trash floating on the ocean.

(microplastic can be eaten by fish and then kill you after as an act of revenge for taking them out of the water motherf*$... also the microplastics ingested by fish and crustaceans can be subsequently consumed by humans as the end of the food chain. The primary concern with human health in regards to microplastics is more directed towards the different toxic and carcinogenic chemicals used to make these plastics and what they carry. it can be poisonous).

So many lives will be affected by this pollution if nothing is done to educate the locals correctly (easier to be said than done). The majority of the island's income comes from tourism, scuba-diving, and fishing.

Let's not forget that this island/area is home to the thresher shark and can only be found here and nowhere else in the world. I'm afraid this pollution will affect locals and tourism if nothing is ever done to correct and educate the habitants of Malapascua Island.

If you have the chance to visit this place or pretty much everywhere on the planet, try to help a little bit in any possible way to reduce pollution, educate with respect and inspire others for a better future. It doesn't matter what or who you are, We all deserve a better future.

Malapascua Island (Northern Cebu, Philippines) has become a haven for scuba divers aiming to have an encounter with the Thresher Sharks. The island has been synonymous to this species of shark since it is the only known place in the world that guarantees daily sightings for shark of this kind.

MALAPASCUA ISLAND || One of the best places to watch sunset

????You can never have too much beach..????

Malapascua makes a beautiful summer getaway destination, the southern part of the island is surrounded with gorgeous sandy bays and there's an excellent choice of hotels and resorts.
Malapascua is situated in the Visayan Sea, across a shallow strait from the northernmost tip of Cebu Island.

How to get there:
????Take a flight to Mactan International Airport in Cebu. Major airlines like Cebu Pacific, Air Asia & Philippine Airlines have daily trips to Cebu.
????Take a taxi from the airport to North Bus Terminal.
????From Cebu City North Bus Terminal, ride a Ceres bus bound to Maya Port in Daanbantayan. The bus trip will end in Maya Port. Travel time: 4-5 hours. (aircondition bus cost around Php200)
⛴Ride a boat from Maya Port to Malapascua. During low tide, smaller boats will pick you up both in Maya Port (cost Php20). Travel time: 45 minutes to an hour.
????Once in Malapascua, you can walk going to your hotel or ride a habal-habal.

Malapascua Island, Cebu - Budget Travel For Non-Divers

We (my friends and I) are always traveling on a budget. When a friend invited me to explore Malapascua Island without booking a resort (which I think are expensive on that island), I immediately heed to the adventure! We were welcomed by a very accommodating local (a family friend of my friend). We were actually planning to visit the island during their fiesta but our schedules were conflicting, so we decided to visit it during a Holiday - Labor Day!

The best thing about this adventure is that I get the chance to sleep by the beach - without a tent but with just a mat laid on the sandy beach. We decided to sleep since it was really hot at that time and the breeze was our solution to that humid weather. Was it safe? Yes, there were also some locals who did the same thing - damn that night was so damn hot! The good thing is that it didn't rain that night - so yep! Lucky us! The sunrise was also very beautiful. Malapascua Island, Philippines

Malapascua was a small island north of Cebu in the Philippines. It's a real nice chill spot to be for a while with diving and snorkeling and freakin flies everywhere. Other than the fly situation, it's definitely a recommended spot to see. Island Life!

From Snorkeling in their so called Coral Garden to visiting the Malapascua Lighthouse.. afterwards, we will be heading to the Japanese Wreck Marine Sanctuary.

We took a motorbike tour of Malapascua Island and walked to an abandoned resort with a secluded beach for swimming. Typhoon Yolanda damaged large resort in 2013. It was a great beach. We also went to a high point overlooking the sea for a great view. Cliff diving is a popular activity here. Using my Gitup Git2 action camera and Canon SX 60 superzoom camera.
