Here is a short video of day out at Lightwater Valley. Lightwater Valley is a theme park in North Stainley, North Yorkshire, England. The park is perhaps best known for being the home of Europe’s longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate.

Lightwater Valley was founded by Mr Robert Staveley and initially evolved from a small farm attraction. The park features around 40 other rides and also features an adjacent shopping village and restaurant.

This is just a crappy video i filmed with my nokia n95 while I was on the rollercoaster in summer 2008.
The main video is of the whole ride but i cut the boring parts out.

The Ultimate is the longest rollercoaster in Europe @ 1.5miles
It takes around 6 mins from it setting off from getting back to where it started from.
It may not be the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world it might not look it but it's defanatly one of the best! In the corners after the last drop you are thrown all over the place it can be quite painfull! But you are held in well and it's loads of fun. I think my personal best for the amount of times i have been on this in one day is about 45 times. I have been on the ultimate well over 200 times.

The Ultimate held the record for the world's longest rollercoaster from 7/17/1991 until 2000, it is still Europes' longest. (
