Music by Johannes Ockeghem
Lilleshall Abbey was an Augustinian abbey in Shropshire, England, today located 6 miles north of Telford. It was founded between 1145 and 1148 and followed the austere customs and observance of the Abbey of Arrouaise in northern France. It suffered from chronic financial difficulties and narrowly escaped the Dissolution of the Lesser Monasteries in 1536, before going into voluntary dissolution in 1538.

Lilleshall Abbey Ruins
Ruins of Lilleshall Abbey, near Shrewsbury. Reputedly haunted, didn't see any ghosts, but the face of a bloodhound appears in an alcove, and you can see a man's face in the stonework of one of the doorways. September 2009.

Screams at Lilleshall Abbey....(Real Ghost)
Screams that we heard and caught on cam at Lilleshall Abbey... 100% NOT FAKE...and this is the original upload.
Not really anything to watch and sound isn't exactly perfect. But listen and you will hear it.
Listen carefully after my cousin says dictaphone. Its faint but you can hear it if you listen closely enough.
We actually heard more of the screaming at that time but only this bit you can hear. Sound quality is a bit poor due to wind.
To me it sounded like a little boy screaming, there was absolutely no one around apart from us five that went.
What do you make of it?
We're going to do a bit more reviewing of what we have already and if we find anytihng else I will post it on here.
We're also more than likely going to be carrying on research on places soon. Anything we find you'll see it here

lilleshall Abbey
Founded in about 1148, this Augustinian abbey became a private residence after the Reformation, and was severely damanged during the Civil War during a Parliamentarian siege. Despite that, much of the church survives, and is viewable from gallery level. There is also a lavishly sculpted processional door and other cloister buildings

Newport and Lilleshall Abbey: Cummings Your Way
After a quick visit to an Abbey that's been 'bosted up by time', Dan hits the lovely streets of Newport, Shropshire, where delights as varying as Ozzy Osborne's former bar and frightening showroom dummies co-exist. It's an ideal place to discuss the merits of tortoise shells as presents. The shadow of an emotional Larry Mullen at Graceland hangs heavy.
