Lilli Pilli cliff ride
This was the first time i had ever made a video on Mountain Biking and was pretty much made on impulse with a mate of mine (rider) Ed McDonald. It was shot with a Canon miniDV 800i, with no tripod or dolly.
Some of the scenery is pretty awesome and Ed is freaking insane riding that close to the cliff's edge. Some of the shots are a bit shaky, with the last one being particularly jarring and a tad long. However, i think it helped to show a first person view of a rider battling up that final climb to the summit on top. Thats my excuse anyway :P
The music is Comfort you by Eskimo Joe.
Enjoy :)

Secret Sydney 19: Badangi Bushland Reserve, Wollstonecraft
Bandangi Bushland Reserve
By Katie Rorison
This video, produced as part of a MDIA2008: Broadcast Journalism at the University of New South Wales, highlights the hidden beauty that can be found within the pocket of bushland known as Badangi Bushland Reserve on the northern foreshores of Sydney. I found this site’s beautiful natural environment, combined with the intriguing Indigenous and non-Indigenous historical use of the land interesting and inspiring, and thought this a great opportunity to shed light on a lesser known, but no less worthy, location in Sydney.
Badangi is the Aboriginal word for Rock Oyster, and its use as the title for this piece of land not only signifies an element of the bushland’s natural surrounds, but also pays respect to the historical association this land has had with the local indigenous communities for many years. With an abundance of native Australian flora and fauna as well as multiple walking tracks, Badangi Bushland Reserve is not only a place of peaceful respite for locals, but also has a fascinating industrial history. After European settlement, the sought after harbour front location of Badangi was used as a site for some of the North Shore’s earliest industries including a sugar refinery, kerosene works and the long running Oyster Cove Gasworks; in operation from 1917-1987.

Fishing With Family on Bates Bay (Cronulla)
The weather was perfect, the water so calm and the perfect day to go fishing with family. In all the boyz caught about 16 fish, but only one was kept... the flathead, as it met the legal size of 33cm. All in all, an incredible day and a lot of fun to be had!

【Drone aerial photography】Australia, Sydney, beautiful city scenery
Sydney (/ˈsɪdni/ (About this soundlisten) SID-nee) is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds Port Jackson and extends about 70 km (43.5 mi) on its periphery towards the Blue Mountains to the west, Hawkesbury to the north, the Royal National Park to the south and Macarthur to the south-west. Sydney is made up of 658 suburbs, 40 local government areas and 15 contiguous regions. Residents of the city are known as Sydneysiders. As of June 2017, Sydney's estimated metropolitan population was 5,230,330 and is home to approximately 65% of the state's population.
Indigenous Australians have inhabited the Sydney area for at least 30,000 years, and thousands of engravings remain throughout the region, making it one of the richest in Australia in terms of Aboriginal archaeological sites. During his first Pacific voyage in 1770, Lieutenant James Cook and his crew became the first Europeans to chart the eastern coast of Australia, making landfall at Botany Bay and inspiring British interest in the area. In 1788, the First Fleet of convicts, led by Arthur Phillip, founded Sydney as a British penal colony, the first European settlement in Australia. Phillip named the city Sydney in recognition of Thomas Townshend, 1st Viscount Sydney. Penal transportation to New South Wales ended soon after Sydney was incorporated as a city in 1842. A gold rush occurred in the colony in 1851, and over the next century, Sydney transformed from a colonial outpost into a major global cultural and economic centre. After World War II, it experienced mass migration and became one of the most multicultural cities in the world.[3] At the time of the 2011 census, more than 250 different languages were spoken in Sydney. In the 2016 Census, about 35.8% of residents spoke a language other than English at home. Furthermore, 45.4% of the population reported having been born overseas, making Sydney the 3rd largest foreign born population of any city in the world after London and New York City, respectively.
Despite being one of the most expensive cities in the world, the 2018 Mercer Quality of Living Survey ranks Sydney tenth in the world in terms of quality of living, making it one of the most livable cities. It is classified as an Alpha+ World City by Globalization and World Cities Research Network, indicating its influence in the region and throughout the world. Ranked eleventh in the world for economic opportunity, Sydney has an advanced market economy with strengths in finance, manufacturing and tourism. There is a significant concentration of foreign banks and multinational corporations in Sydney and the city is promoted as Australia's financial capital and one of Asia Pacific's leading financial hubs.Established in 1850, the University of Sydney is Australia's first university and is regarded as one of the world's leading universities. Sydney is also home to the oldest library in Australia, State Library of New South Wales, opened in 1826.
Sydney has hosted major international sporting events such as the 2000 Summer Olympics. The city is among the top fifteen most-visited cities in the world, with millions of tourists coming each year to see the city's landmarks. Boasting over 1,000,000 ha (2,500,000 acres) of nature reserves and parks, its notable natural features include Sydney Harbour, the Royal National Park, Royal Botanic Garden and Hyde Park, the oldest parkland in the country.[33] Built attractions such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House are also well known to international visitors. The main passenger airport serving the metropolitan area is Kingsford-Smith Airport, one of the world's oldest continually operating airports. Established in 1906, Central station, the largest and busiest railway station in the state, is the main hub of the city's rail network.

Free diving Gordons Bay (Sydney Australia) - Into The Blue
Free diving in gordon's bay (and a few clips from clovelly which is just around the corner). Gordon's bay has some good depth and there is an underwater track that you can follow to see the marine wildlife. Lots of people swimming laps from one end of the bay to the other, snorkelling and scuba diving. There is lots of great scenery both looking above the water on the cliff's edges and under the water, though som parts of Gordon's bay is pretty sandy and bare some parts are really nice. Again sorry for the camera work, still learning how to work the camera and get it less jerky. Plan to go again next week so, I'll try to shoot some underwater life on my next time there ...

Bush Medicine Man - Rain Forest Lilly Pilly (Wayne Peters B.Sc.)
The Australian native Lilly Pilly in all its various species have always been an important food source for the Aboriginal people of Australia, regardless of where their territory is located. The Rain Forest Lilly Pilly is a commonly found species usually found around or near to water sources (Rain Forests, Creek & River sides). This video introduces you to the Rain Forest Lilly Pilly trees that lay within an ancient Aborigine Shell Midden site on the edges of Cudgen Creek near Kingscliff (NSW). It is important to record and document the locations of native bush tucka and bush medicines because many are being lost to the regional developer excavators / bull dozers and the push for urbanisation.
