Hamedan + Kermanshah - Trip to Iran
Hamedan was the second station on my trip. Most people don't go to Hamedan. In my opinion it's a mistake, because it's a very nice city and you can see a lot of things there.
Beside that it is easy to access from Tehran. It's around four hours by bus. For Iran it's a short trip :D
In Hamedan you can visit a lot of things. For example:
Imam Khomeini Square
Ibn Sina tomb
Baba Taher tomb
Famous Pottery
Ali Sadr cave
Ancient city of Hegmataneh
Qorban Historical Tower
Alaviyan Dome
Ganjnameh Waterfall
Hiking the Alvand mountains
Stone Lion
Tomb of Mordakhay and Ester
You see, it's worth to go there :D
If you continue your trip for around four more hours to the west, then you will arrive in Kermanshah.
I spent there only one night in the Oak Hostel. I can recommend this hostel a lot, very clean and great location (this advertisment is for free, I don't get any thing for it ;-))
You can visit there a lot of places. I visited only some places in the city. There's the beautiful park around Taq-e Bostan, there are many nice traditional houses like Tekyeh Moaven al-molk or Biglar Beigi Takiyeh.
If you have any questions about the cities, feel free to ask in the comments.
I post a many pictures on Instagram in my stories, so you can follow my trip live :D

The Pars Museum, Nazar Garden, Vakil Mosque & Bazaar, Shiraz, Iran
The Pars Museum, Nazar Garden, Vakil Mosque & Bazaar, Shiraz, Iran
The Pars Museum is a museum in Shiraz, is located in Nazar Garden. The octagonal building was the place in which royal guests were hosted during the Zand dynasty of Iran.
Vakil Mosque was built by order of Karim Khan Zand near the royal palace and in the Zandiyeh complex. Vakil means regent, which was the title used by Karim Khan, the founder of Zand Dynasty. Shiraz was the seat of Karim Khan’s government (from 1750 until 1781) and he endowed many buildings, including this mosque.
Bazaar-E-Vakil of Shiraz is one of the most famous historical and traditional bazaars of Iran
Shiraz is known as the city of poets, literature, wine and flowers. The word shir in Persian means lion, but it could also mean milk. It is also considered by many Iranians to be the city of gardens, due to the many gardens and fruit trees that can be seen in the city.
Iran: German FM Maas meets Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran

German Foreign minister, Heiko Maas, met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran on Monday, as part of his official trip to the country.
Travelling on behalf of the three European signatories of the JCPOA, Germany, France and the UK, Maas' visit is aimed at holding talks with Iranian officials on the implementation of the 2015 nuclear agreement, which was dropped by the United States.
US President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal in 2018, re-imposing sanctions on Iran. Tehran responded in May 2019 by announcing it would partially withdraw from the deal, restarting some of its nuclear activity until European JCPOA signatories could help ease the sanctions.
The Iranian government has set a July 7 deadline for putting its partial withdrawal from the agreement into action.

Why again to Mashhad? - Trip to Iran
I guess in this video you will see things you never believed to see in Iran :D
Most people think of Mullahs and religious fanatics when they think about Mashhad. I also saw these parts, but I also saw a completely different version of Mashhad.
I think Mashhad is the iranian capital of vehicles. There is this racetrack in Mashhad for cars, motorbikes, motocross and an offroad track. People meet there every Friday.
It opens at 10:30am.
What surprised me most was the density of oldtimer cars in Mashhad. I saw garages full of Mercedes oldtimer. There are also a lot of old american muscle cars.

Inside Iran: Are Tehran's poorest paying the price? - BBC News
Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018 and has imposed ever tightening sanctions on the country in a move designed to force Tehran to curtail their nuclear ambitions.
The sanctions have led to increased prices and the local currency has fallen significantly. Iranians are being dragged into poverty and the poorest are feeling the effects.
As tensions rise between Iran, the United States and its allies, the BBC has been given rare access to Iran.
BBC Middle East correspondent Martin Patience, has been in Tehran looking at the impact of sanctions. While in the country, filming access was controlled - as with all foreign media the team was accompanied by a government representative at all times.

Thoughts on IRAN After 6 Months...
Iran touched my heart in more ways than I ever imagined.
6 months ago I was on a 2 week journey around Iran, and not a day goes by where I don't think about the fun times I had in Iran.
In my mind, Iran is still the most misunderstood country in the world. It has THE MOST humble & hospitable people, delicious foods, ancient history and a culture that feels like you've traveled back in time.
And should I mention that Iran is one of the world's safest countries? I felt safer traveling in Iran than I do in my own country -- this is not a joke.
And just in case you are wondering — nobody told me to make this video. It is not sponsored. I made it out of pure joy because I want to share with you my 100% honest thoughts and feelings towards Iran. I can't wait to visit again soon (hopefully 2019!)
Have you ever been to Iran? Do you agree that it's the most misunderstood country in the world?

Iran: Foreign companies attend Tehran Oil Show despite growing US sanctions
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe
Leading European oil and petroleum companies attended the 24th Iran International Oil, Gas Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition in Tehran on Wednesday, despite US threats of further sanctions on Iranian oil exports in May.
Exhibitors reflected on the nature of recent US embargoes, with some calling it a hindrance for foreign businesses in Iran. Others dismissed the sanctions and said it was business as usual.
We did get a letter from an American institution, let's say, seven pages trying to convince me not to come here, said Managing Director & Co-Owner of ComFin Software Gerald Neher.
At the moment, there are no sanctions at least that involve Italy and European countries, said SEIM Sales Manager Vittorio Pessina, though he acknowledged Iran's lack of access to the international banking system presented a substantial challenge for his business.
Area Sales Manager of Ring Field Company Luca Colombo recognized the Oil Show's changed atmosphere due to the embargoes, saying last year it was… the period when the first [oil] embargo was starting so the atmosphere was changed, less companies from Europe especially.
I hope it will get better because business is really big here in Iran, he added.
Washington announced on 22 April it will not extend sanction waivers granted to China, Japan, South Korea, Turkey and India to import Iranian oil. The waivers are set to expire on Thursday 2 May.
