Places to see in ( Swansea - UK ) Bracelet Bay
Bracelet Bay is a small bay on the south of the Gower Peninsula. Bracelet Bay is the first bay one comes to after leaving Swansea Bay and rounding Mumbles Head. Surrounded by limestone cliffs the bay is pebbly, with some sand.
Bracelet Bay is excellent for a picnic, and affords good views of Mumbles light-house. One should bathe with caution. Above the beach is a carpark, with restaurants and a bar; while to the west the bay is separated from Limeslade Bay by Tutt Hill, which carries a coastguard look-out station. The name 'Bracelet' is thought to be a corruption of 'Broad Slade'.

Swansea, officially known as the City and County of Swansea, is a coastal city and county in Wales. Swansea is the second largest city in Wales after Cardiff, and the twenty-fifth largest city in the UK.
Swansea lies within the historic county boundaries of Glamorgan and the ancient Welsh commote of Gŵyr. Situated on the sandy South West Wales coast, the county of Swansea area includes the Gower Peninsula and the Lliw uplands.
The City and County of Swansea local authority area is bordered by unitary authorities of Carmarthenshire to the north, and Neath Port Talbot to the east. Swansea is bounded by Swansea Bay and the Bristol Channel to the south. Swansea can be roughly divided into four physical areas. To the north are the Lliw uplands which are mainly open moorland, reaching the foothills of the Black Mountain. To the west is the Gower Peninsula with its rural landscape dotted with small villages. To the east is the coastal strip around Swansea Bay. Cutting though the middle from the south-east to the north-west is the urban and suburban zone stretching from the Swansea city centre to the towns of Gorseinon and Pontarddulais.
Swansea City A.F.C. (founded 1912) is the city's main football association team. Originally playing at the Vetch Field, they moved to the Liberty Stadium at the start of the 2005–2006 season, winning promotion to League One in their final year at their old stadium. The team presently play in the Premier League, after being promoted during the 2010/11 season. The Football Association of Wales had decided that for the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, Wales would play all of their home ties at either the Cardiff City Stadium or the Liberty Stadium. Swansea has three association football clubs that play in the Welsh Football League: Garden Village, South Gower and West End.

Mumbles & Oystermouth Castle - A Quick Tour Of Swansea Bay, Wales
A quick look at Mumbles and Oystermouth Castle on Swansea Bay in South Wales.
Mumbles is the headland at the end of Swansea Bay and is the start of the beautiful coastline of the Gower Peninsula.
The Victorian pier is being renovated and at it’s end is the new RNLI lifeboat station. The old lifeboat station with the red roof still exists along side the pier.
A short walk along Swansea Bay is Oystermouth Castle. The Norman Castle was built in 1106 and used to about 1650.
From the ruins there is great view of Mumbles and Swansea Bay.

(HD) Swansea Bus Museum. Driving '590' AEC Regent V. Sunday 31st May 2015.
***** Best in 1080 HD Full Screen..may need higher volume to get best sounds from the Bus Trip !******
Today we go to Swansea Bus Museum for their Family Fun Day, I am rostered to drive the Service 75. The 'City Center Shuttle'. Bus Museum--Railway Station--Bus Station(Wellington St)--Bus Museum. I am lucky in being allocated 590, 423 HCY a 1964 AEC Regent V . With an AEC AV691 11.3 Litre Engine & Weymann 71 Seat Body ex South Wales Transport. . I have driven Sister's 586 and 639 in previous visits. Being a massive AEC Regent V fan, my aim is to capture as much of the iconic AEC melodic Gearbox sounds as possible and to put on here for posterity...while we still can !! 590 didn't disappoint, a really lovely powerful and smooth drive with those sounds i remember so well as a Child travelling to School in the 1960's This was a nice change of route for me as it has been many Years since i have been outside Swansea Railway Station and The Queensway. Gave me lots of standing starts from Traffic Lights etc to get the best sounds from that Gearbox. Firstly i must thank my lovely partner Sharon for filming this trip for me, bless her...the patience of a Saint. Also many thanks to Mathew from The Bus Museum for showing me the route around the City. It was great for us to meet up with our great friend Bob Masterman , who came along with us on the trip and made a partner video to this one. See his Channel for two videos he made Today. The middle part of this video is footage taken of different Vehicles outside at The Museum. The final part is footage taken after driving in The Car around Swansea Bay to Mumbles and Bracelet Bay Near Limeslade., to finish the day off nicely. In the last clips we capture the view at Langland Bay where i lived not far from the Beach up till April 1969 when i moved to Somerset. Hope you like this video, although it may appeal more to Bus Enthusiast's ....We had a great Day...Thanks for watching......Steve.
