A walk around Louth Lincolnshire market town centre 2019 see what it’s like
Louth is a market town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Louth is the principal town and centre for a large rural area of eastern Lincolnshire. Visitor attractions include St. James' Church, Hubbard's Hills, the market, many independent retailers, and Lincolnshire's last remaining cattle market.
Louth is at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds where they meet the Lincolnshire Marsh and is known as the Capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds. It developed where the ancient trackway along the Wolds, known as the Barton Street, crossed the River Lud. The town is east of a gorge carved into the Wolds that forms the Hubbard's Hills. This area was formed from a glacial overspill channel in the last glacial period. The River Lud meanders through the gorge before entering the town.

Explore the Lincolnshire Wolds, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, by bike with Cycle England.
Lincolnshire is a web of almost deserted lanes between dykes and deep hedges stretch from the coastal flatlands to the rolling wolds through quiet towns and villages, past abbeys, castles, stately homes and century old farms and some of the oldest churches in Britain.
More recent developments have also played their part in making this area so suitable for stress free riding. Canal side cycleways and reclaimed railway paths are the perfect traffic and hill free arteries to join farm shops, old inns, bakeries and tea rooms eager to treat you to delicious fresh local produce.

Lincolnshire Wolds: Heritage and Culture
The Lincolnshire Wolds is steeped in heritage just waiting to be explored, from the home of a future King to the home of some of the most iconic war planes ever to take to the skies.
It is a landscape that inspired one of England’s greatest poets, Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The Victorian Poet Laureate was born in the Wolds village of Somersby and his love of the area was reflected in many of his poems. And those deep valleys, streams and woods that so inspired him have changed little since his childhood days.

Belchford & Lincolnshire Wolds MTB | July 2015
A charity ride around the Lincolnshire Wolds in July 2015.
Lincolnshire is a very flat place except for the Wolds, so when I heard about a charity ride being organised by the Louth MTB club it was a no brainer.
I wasn't expecting too much, but the ride was a total blast and everyone was smiling by the end!! well done lads.
I really hope they do this again next year.
