Every visitor of Lindos archaeological site, has the chance to book a mini iPad from which, through a special application that is based on modern technologies, virtual and augmented reality, he sees a representation of the archaeological site as it was before.
The iPad is protected by a special sheath, carry belt to hang it on the neck and a visor that allows the user to seamlessly and reliably using the content under the summer sun. The user, when located in the archaeological area, may at predetermined places to use tablets and aiming towards the ruins of the site to see a complete matching all the monuments around it, as it was in ancient times, in three dimensions and 360 degrees. In this way the tablet is converted into virtual reality goggles, having the possibility of infinite zoom. Moreover, the user can enter virtual inside buildings even if the place cannot be visited or not there today.
This modern service brings 100% archaeological sites and actively engage visitors of all ages keeping alive their interest.

On 7 days of vacation on this beautiful island, almost 1000 km were driven, on an island measuring just 100 km in length.
almost 500 video clips were recorded on a Sony HDR-GW55 and a Sony FDR-AX53, as well as about 1000 images with a Sony DSLR-A350. In addition, there is 6 hours Video on a Mini 805 Dash Cam and approximately 4 hours continuous Video on Actioncam from various dives and adrenaline speedboat tours, there are also footage taken with mobile phone and Ipad

Alex Restaurant in Lindos Rhodes Greece
Alex's Restaurant was opened in 2002 and has enjoyed continued success for the last 10 years. It is run by Alex and his sons, Costas and Philip and is located in the centre of Lindos. Our two roof gardens provide fabulous views over the village and up to the Acropolis. We offer a wide variety of classic Greek dishes and Mediterranean style food, all cooked to perfection with our own home-produced olive oil and using only local fish, meat and fresh vegetables. Costas, Philip and all our staff provide a very friendly and attentive service and we are sure you won't be disappointed if you visit us!
