Linville Falls, Linn Cove Viaduct and Rough Ridge Adventure in North Carolina,USA
????????????SEPTEMBER 30,2018???? Adventure around NC⛰????????
#LinvilleFalls is a waterfall located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in the United States. The falls move in several distinct steps, beginning in a twin set upper falls, moving down a small gorge, and culminating in a high-volume 45-foot(14m). It is named for the Linville River, which goes over the falls. Linville Falls has the highest volume of any waterfall on the Northern Edge of the Blue Ridge Mountain ⛰
#LinnCoveViaduct is a 1,243-foot (379m) concrete segmental bridge which snakes around the slopes of Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. It was completed in 1987 at a cost of $10million and was the last section of Blue Ridge Parkway to be finished.
#RoughRidge is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Blowing Rock, North Carolina that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. #Note: We didn’t get a chance to finish the whole trail because of the bad weather. I hope to comeback here again next time..????????????

Flying the Blue Ridge Parkway north from Asheville to the Linn Cove Bridge
The drive north from Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway is inspired. There are a good number of outlooks and the views are worth the drive. Pack a lunch, fill the tank, and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Linn Cove Viaduct is an engineering wonder and my video of the clouds rolling in over the viaduct gives a great perspective of it. I hope you enjoy it too.

Linn Cove Viaduct on Tanawha Trail Hike Sp 2017
Please watch: Welcome to my Channel Intro

This is the part of solo day hike. I leave Beacon Heights area and continue along the Tanawha Trail towards Linn Cove Viaduct. I go from climbing up rocks, wooden steps to smooth walking along the trail. I use my GoPro Hero4 along with my SJ5000 camera to capture video. My Canon Rebel T5i for still shots. Original editing of the vide was done in GoPro Studio. Cyberlink Power Director was used to create the slide show of stills, add voice and music. The music is from my Digital Juice Stack Traxx collection. #AllenOxendine, #LinnCoveViaduct, #TanawhaTrail, #LinnCoveViaductHikingTrail

The Blue Ridge Parkway || A Road Trip Through History
I went on a little road trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway from Cumberland Knob Recreational area, the site where construction of the parkway began, to Linn Cove Viaduct, where construction ended some 52 years later. It’s a truly beautiful and fun drive and one of the best in the Eastern United States.
Also, I introduce everyone to my whip.

Bicycle Touring: The Blue Ridge Pkway in Fall from Boone to Asheville
Hey everyone, I'm VERY behind with this video, nearly by a month and change, but I was able to allocate the time to go through all my trip media and together this video which documents my experience of bicycle touring the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway from Boone to Asheville, North Carolina.
For those of you who don't know, the BRP is historically dubbed as America's most scenic drive, America's favorite drive etc. It traverses the peaks and valleys of the Appalachian mountains through the US states of Virginia and North Carolina.
It is a misconception that one shouldn't or can't ride a bike through this beautiful piece of American infrastructure. You most certainly can, so watch my video to get an idea of what it's like and listen to some tips that I give throughout the video.
This is all part of an extended bicycle tour from New York City to New Orleans, LA. I have captured the entire experience on YouTube, so check out my channel for the rest!
And please, as always, feel free to make suggestions to I can continue to improve the quality of my content. Comment, like, and subscribe!!!

Small Town USA - Blue Ridge Mountains of NC
West Jefferson North Carolina is a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. Many come to the mountains for inspiration, renewal and the fresh cool mountain air but they also come to discover our deep rooted Appalachian heritage.
